Everyone I know who comes from the coast complains because people tend to get married very young here. I am 34 here and practically an old maid.
It is true, I think a lot of people are married by the age of 27, so there are less single people here, plus I don't think there are that many great looking women in the state of SD who are single. I think they get taken really fast. | |

Dallas has hot chicks. Some of them are morally admirable. Some of THAT group fit the rest of your criteria. Oh, but good luck finding someone that fits a modern definition of femininity, submission, and intelligence all in one. Each of the three subdues the others to some degree.
If you're seriously going to consider moving somewhere PURELY by the unmeasured and unsubstantiated whim of forum-goers, then perhaps it would be good to examine what your end game looks like. Looking for the ideal woman to keep you company? They're everywhere. You don't have to lower your standards, or even erase a few. You just have to define them a LOT better (if for no other reason than to avoid the miscommunications that have occurred here).
Just by projecting elements of my past onto what you've said already, it seems as though there are some mixed forces driving you. Check it out before you make a big decision and you may be pleasantly surprised. Good luck. | |

I mean all the freakin women running around in bathing suits all summer just grates on the nerves after a while, and let's not even get into all the ski bunnies all winter long. And if you like hunting and fishing when you're not womanizing, then this place is definitely not for you. I mean, just how much clean air, fresh water and lack of traffic backed up by beautiful women can one man take.
Yeah, go someplace like Chicago, or New York, or LA. Just don't come here! | |

I believe they were rated one of the fittest cities in the nation or so she said anyway. It's beautiful there. Of course Jersey has some good looking women, but I wouldn't advocate moving here. I've been a lot of places and out of all of them I would move to Colorado springs, if I could move that is. | |

But I'm hoping for a warmer climate and a better job market.

So far Texas and the West Coast are still winning.
Canada seems to be full to the brim of attractive, intelligent, educated women... but I just cannot bring myself to move to Canada.
The governing body and laws in place are just too constricting for me.
Same with Australia. I do like Australian girls - they tend to have a great sense of humor - at least judging by the ones I met at ski resorts.
PS - I'm ignoring the people now who don't read my entire OP or are just offended by the fact that people in general vary regionally. | |

I think it is like Colorado in that there are a lot of outdoor activities and is one of the biggist bicycling towns in the US. I would suggest that you try a look up of the towns on POF. Maybe it will give you a good idea. In the end I think that the NW is a great pleace for women, but maybe I am bias. :) Good luck~ | |

But let me tell you this, you can go to Miami Beach or Southern California, where the number of babes outnumbers the total population, and you can find yourself, actually NOT connecting with anyone because these women are looking for only one type of men. Now you can go to the least suspecting places and find a ton of beautiful women. I do have to say instead, that I love the way Southern Women take care of themselves, particularly Texan women. But I love the outdoorsiness and natural approach you find in Colorado, or the Down to earth of women in San Francisco. Yet, I can't stand the plastic nature of the women I have met in Southern Cal, Miami or Vegas. So it all depends on what you are looking for, you can find it almost anywhere, as long as you look, and if anything move to a bigger city.  I don't know how much clearer of an answer you can get. I get what you mean about San Fran. when I visited a few years ago I noticed some ladies were pretty, classy, without wearing revealing clothing or a bunch of makeup. But really you can see women like that anywhere the key is how these ladies line up with your values and lifestyle. I think that's what you need to consider in addition to looks. | |

There are good looking girls everywhere.... under the age of 22. At 25... not so much. In WV there are smoking hot girls at 20 years old. At 25 a bunch are overweight and already have kids. That's not what I look for. And regardless of age, most have less coultural background than you can fit in a sippy cup.
I'm a complete-package-wanting sort of guy. So far in my life I do date complete packages.... so my standards are not unrealistic. Pretty girls are a dime a dozen. They really don't impress me much. Finding a pretty girl who has similar interests, a similar sense of humor, and similar goals in life is the tricky part. :P
I just want to get the hell out of WV, and I don't really have any reason to move anywhere specific right now.
This is a fun topic to think about if I'm still single when I move. | |

*sigh* In my experience, the most desireable men seem to be concentrated in Canada, UK and Germany.. They tend to be more lean/athletic than their fleshy american fast food consuming counterparts..
Yay for England! I so agree with you, some of the ladies here are both stunning physically, and in personality! I'd never leave this place. | |

I hate generalizations, and it seems like an invitation to just bag on certain parts of the country unnecessarily and promote stereotypes. Yes, there are cultural trends, but you can find someone amazing anywhere you go, as long as you look. Go look for a place that you love for its culture and land and people in general, and don't worry about how hot the majority of girls are.
I'll tell you, I'm from California, grew up in Southern (Orange County, to be exact), and now live in Northern, and some of my girl friends in Orange County were some of the most unsuperficial people you could ever meet. Don't judge a book by its cover. | |
