Posted: 5/5/2009 11:20:19 PM | my opinion is that men have and will continue to masturbate more than women. I have a very high sex drive and I only masturbate a few times a week, sometimes more one week then the next. Being single as long as I have it is a necessity, to me anyway. But I have been told by more than one man that they masturbate every day, one even told me up to and sometimes over 4x a day. The most I have done it in any period of my life is once or twice a day and I was in a relationship at the time, he didn't like it, but I wasn't cheating on him. It was just nice to get off in the shower before work or before going to bed, or even before having sex with him, kind of like foreplay I guess. I would probably masturbate more now except I don't get much privacy living with my brother and his family and it kind of kills the mood when I get distrubted so I generally wait till everyone is asleep and by then I'm too tired sometimes, or early in the morning works too.
But I guess there may be women out there that masturbate more or as much as men, as I used to a few years back, guess it depends on your circumstances, desire and opportunity. | |

HoneyLaurel, I too have a very high sex drive, and I can tell you that even if/when you do meet that special guy, its still an option available to you as needed. Even when I have a partner I feel the need at times. Its normal and healthy!  | |

When I was 13 or so 10 times a day would be normal now at may age a couple of time a day. Menopause from my experience increases the female drive the female hormone is dropping allowing the male side to become dominant. Enjoy while you can if you use it you wont loos it, remember its your body and the better you know what gives you pleasure the better you can help a partner to turn you on. I hope you have found your "G" spot and can help it out if not try it. Last but not least I wish I had met you years ago we would have been cats on a hot tin roof.

My ex said he didn't masturbate and indeed I never saw him or found any evidence that he did. He would stroke his penis before and sometimes during sex but I don't really know if he did masturbate. I did when ever I wanted to and he knew that because I saw no reason to hide it. The frequency varied and still does. I see the depending factors as Time available, how horney I am at any given time, whether I am having sex on a regular basis or not, which is interesting because sometimes even if I am having regular sex ( and like what is that ??? regular... once a week, once a day, twice, that is your own definition 4 me I would say at least 2 times a week would be regular) I amy want to masturbate more because I feel like I want even more. So it is a very individual issue. | |
