Apparently, she seemed to cling to guys who took her for granted. The only thing worse is that she was more "attracted" to guys who'd pretty much crapped on her in the past. Badly.
She really was, I suppose, what they call a "textbook" case.
OP: It hurts - physically as well as mentally. I remember feeling physical pain in my torso, and occasionally wondered if I was actually having a physical heart condition, on top of the whole feeling sort of like I was simultaneously hungry yet nauseous and had that constant gnawing in my gut, sort of like my stomach was attempting to do gymnastics.
This was bad enough that I lost something in the range of 12-15 pounds over the course of 3 or 4 months. No, I wasn't *trying* to. Considering that, at 5'8", I was at 147 to start with, this was sort of shocking to some of my friends.
It will pass, though. It may take time, but it will. | |
