Posted: 5/13/2009 1:58:34 PM | OMG, I also love the Wizard of Oz. That move was made in 1939 - the year my mom was born so the full color scene where she enters OZ is really quite a visual spectacle! In fact, if I'm channel surfing and I see it on, I may pop in and watch for a bit, depending on what else is on.  I also own DARK SIDE OF OZ on DVD - a bootlegged copy of the movie set to the soundtrack of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.  It's actually rather freaky how well the music matches up with what's going on in the movie in many places (but not all). I do have to wonder what stoner was smoking a doob, listening to Dark Side of the Moon and watching the Wizard of Oz when they discovered this bizarre coincidence. 
Speaking of reality crap...have you all seen this tool "Nik Richie's" (real name Hooman Karamian) "reality blog site?" Talk about TRASH. He basically allows any Tom, D!ck, or Harry to submit a photo (yes, even stolen ones) and nasty captions about the subject...then proceeds to trash them more. He also had a portion about Drunk Drivers, until he was arrested for such! Really nasty sh!t...especially when some jealous mother fvcker steals a personal photo off of a public site, and creates a lie from it.
In the spirit of his site:

The guy sounds like a real loser if you ask me and I'd lay odds that MOST of the people who post to his site are embittered, angry, jealous WOMEN (or should I say "girls"). I doubt many men would bother themselves with such mean-spirited, petty pursuits as posting pictures of people and trashing them. Well, except perhaps the tool that runs the site..and let's just hope that instant karma gets that guy..

Why do two cars drive neck and neck on an interstate? They think everybody else wants to drive that speed or slower?

Posted: 5/14/2009 1:20:45 AM | I was at a Great Clips (or similar) the other week getting a haircut during the middle of the day. She asked me if I was working that day or if I was off. If I was working that day would I be sitting in the chair getting a haircut?!?!?!?!?!?
A while back a Sport Clips opened up here in town. A men-oriented place where hot-looking chics (who talk about sports, cars, etc.) give you a haircut and a neck (the one above the shoulders) massage while you watch sports on the big-screen TV. And they charge a lot of money. That was the scenario when they first opened. A month later I go there and it's nothing but women with their little kids there and Sponge Bob is on the big screen TV. The women cutting the hair were homely and ask me if I was working, where I worked at, if I did any shopping that day, etc.
And they charged a lot of money.
WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
From now on I'm going to Bob's Barber Shop for a lot less money and talk fishing....... | |

Yeah, but whenever you are out with her and you need something, she ALWAYS seems to have it in her "purse", sometimes it's even items to make Jaegarbombs.  Let's see what she carries in it Saturday.
I don't get why they have to start construction on the highway near my house every morning when I am needing to cross over the lanes to go to work. Don't they realize that people need to cross that intersection, why don't they wait till after 8:30 when I am already at work, or better yet, wait till days like today when I just call in sick, then they can work all day on it.
Oh yeah, and why do people make you feel quilty for taking a sick day, when you don't feel well and don't feel like sitting at work feeling like crap all day. If they give you 6 sick days a year to take, why hold on to them, it's not like you can cash the unused ones in. Now I still have 5 sick days to take between now and the end of the year, should I feel bad when I take the other 5? It makes me sick to think about it. | |

I just don't get...why people are too lazy to walk their carts to the cart corral!? It's not something so severe that it is a "peeve" of mine...but really?! Have you ever watched these people? They take the time to look around and see if anyone is watching them...then spend longer trying to park it on a curb or between two cars, than they would have if their fat asses walked it to the corral!
Someone once told me that since someone was being paid to collect them, they figured WTF...but they are only being paid to collect them from the corral to the store...as a CONVENIENCE to shopping. Sheesh. | |
