| Singles Cruise Posted: 7/8/2009 11:48:50 PM | | I went on my first cruise in December. After much anticipation and saving for it...well, I would have been better off staying home. Part of my job, the other duties as assigned, involves working as cafeteria monitor. I could not handle close to a hundred children pushing and shoving in the lunch line. They were running all over the place with absolutely no supervision. When the little cherubs started running down the elderly that was the end of my vacation. I sorted them out and had them lined up like the precious ones they had forgotten they really were. There was no place outside of my cabin though to escape the screaming and running angels. Supposedly a place in the back was adults only, but the preteens and young teens had taken it over. If I ever go on another cruise it will be no children allowed. I love and care for children year round. On vacation, I would like to relax and not worry about one going overboard or flicking his boogers into the buffet (yep, it happened). | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 7/10/2009 7:48:37 AM | I guess I deleted your e-mail accidently and can't retrieve it and I really want to go on this cruise. I've been on several cruises but never a singles cruise and I want to find someone that I know to share a room with. Will you please send me another e-mail on the information and who to contact? I don't think I would be comfortable going by myself. I think a cruise is the best way to vacation and I think I could stay on a cruise ship for a month or more and I'm not kidding either! I hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, Beverlee | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 7/12/2009 7:43:51 PM | I love going on cruises and I think it's the best because there's always something to do and your cabin becomes your home away from home. I have so much fun on them that I hate to leave! I am definately going and asking for the time off tomorrow and another girl I know is planning on sharing the room with me. We both love to dance and there's always clubs on the ship that are so much fun and stay open late too. I've never been on a singles cruise and it sounds like a whole lot of fun. I'm going to start packing right now! | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 7/13/2009 6:41:31 AM | I would like to know why I was sent an e-mail from atravelinman telling me about the cruise, Sept. 3-7th out of Miami and having the travel agency site to click on, and then suddenly it's not there and I can't get in touch with you, because of my age, or a travelinman? I am asking my boss to get off work for that time and I have another p.o.f. to share my room and she is asking off. I am so hurt about it too. Beverlee | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 7/13/2009 7:00:04 AM | Ummm, maybe you can't get in touch with travelinman because he has closed his account here on POF. Kind of looks like maybe a ummm............. ahem.............scam? I sure hope you didn't put any money into this or give him or the alleged travel agent your credit card particulars 'cuz they may very well be cruising without you. | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 7/13/2009 8:08:14 PM | Hello, I didn't respond to that e-mail because I wanted to see if I could get the time off and, also, find someone to share a room with. Now I did both and I'm going to do something with that time off even if it isn't a cruise. I love dancing and I've met some really nice people at the dances I've gone to and we get together outside of the dances. I really do hope there is a singles cruise during labor day week-end for 5 days and 4 nights. The price is very reasonable and I haven't been on one that I didn't have fun on. | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 7/29/2009 10:54:57 PM | | I go on cruises for a living with the US navy line. Its not exactly luxurious, but I've been to some cool places. What would your ideal destination for a cruise be? Mexico's not exactly the safest place right now. | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 8/16/2009 8:59:03 PM | | Lots of Singles Cruises out there, I've been on a few.. great way to meet lots of different people and perhaps that special someone. Lots of activities on the ship and it's fun to be a part of a group. You can also take a break and just relax on your own. Cruising is such a great way to vacation, get on the ship, unpack once and cruise to places you've always heard about. You can do everything on the itinerary or just veg out at pool... highly recommended! I'm heading off in September up the West Coast and back and then again in October to some ports I've never been to on the Sea of Cortez in Mexico, may or may not get off the ship, after all it's the cruise itself I like the most. | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 8/17/2009 2:23:19 PM | | I have been on 2 cruises with a group who were supposed to be single. Usually, about 6 female to 1 male. So for a man its great, you can guarantee as a male you will at least have plenty of women to hang out with. I found its mainly women and families. Its a great way to see interesting places and very relaxing. | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 8/20/2009 8:08:26 AM | I have been on only 2 cruises. First one was Oct.2001 Princess..very good. Second one April 2003 Holland...not recommended ..crowd mainly much older and food not that great..IMO! Both of them NOT singles cruises,I had a blast! Oh and get certified to scuba! Mexico..Cozumel, specifically is one of the best dive sites out there!Santa Rosa spot to be exact...huge walls and swim thrus! It's just fantastic! | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 8/20/2009 10:52:38 AM | I agree with you akapeearl! I made plans for Sept. 3 - 7th now and have the time off and I would've enjoyed a cruise so much. I am on widows benefits and work 20 hours a week and I don't get paid vacation time or sick time plus I have to work 1044 hours a year from my hiring date each year. | |

| Singles Cruise Posted: 8/25/2009 5:08:17 PM | | Hello, you picked cruises that are exceptional and the 10/25/09 cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale should be a winner. I agree wholeheartedly that it is better to be with like minded individuals and enjoy the planned single activities. Hope to see you on board. | |
