...After the age of 50 no one in their right mind will expect a concave stomach on a lady
there are way too many posts on this forum from way too many men that disprove this statement.

Naked running: it's the parts that keep moving while you're stationary that bother me
You're going to put your eye out with that thing!!!!!!

| Let's get naked Posted: 8/26/2009 6:16:12 PM | For the sake of being real. Clothes don't hide that much. You can pretty much look at a person clothed and imagine how they look naked. So, whoever you're getting naked in front of shouldn't be too surprised.
I'm assuming that it would be someone you'd been seeing for a while, hugging, kissing, feeling, exploring. They probably wouldn't have any unreal expectations. If one is uncomfortable being naked, it is not because of the other person, but because they have a negative image of their body themselves.
When I get naked, it's with someone that I'm totally comfortable with. I've never had a problem with it. My body's not what it used to be, but chances are, neither would his be. I stay in pretty good shape, for me. For my health. What a partner would think about it is not something I concern myself with.

And your point is? Who cares?
And there have been an awesome amount of men on this forum, who like us just fine. And I for one, like it just fine! Thank you kindly, gentlemen.
And several....who think very highly of you, Dear Divine. Simply because you are stunning.
Hey at our age...men really do want women they can connect with...and the warm body that goes with it.

| Let's get naked Posted: 9/10/2009 9:27:46 PM | i just spent two weeks with a few thousand naked people or in various stages of dress and paint. It was very freeing though I spent a minimal amount of time naked myself. Of course the gold thong and chaps were fairly close. i saw how many hang ups in my life hold me back from having joy. What ever possessed someone with the idea that seeing another persons body was a bad thing??? What would those fashion people do if we did not wear clothing at all?? I guess we might even find that we are more real without our camouflage. | |

| Let's get naked Posted: 9/10/2009 11:58:44 PM | LOL whoaaaaaaaaaa I have had a great laugh reading these posts. I don't think I have ever read 9 pages of a thread before.
Hmmm well, if the time is right, it isn't going to feel too very uncomfortable. I have some areas of self-consciousness, but I am working on those. As MissDivine seems to feel, I have also let the loud cutting remarks of the all too shallow men on here freak me out about it a bit. There are just so many here. Those are the dangers of the internet. People will make you feel worthless if you let them.
I have to say that in person, no one has ever made me feel bad about myself and that is the important thing to remember. As so many women have said, it was our upbringing that keeps some of us not fully comfortable being naked in front of others. This happened to a lot of girls, even if the same was not put on the boys in the same family. When you are told over and over to cover this or that up always in that "tone" then you start to feel it is bad.
My only regret is that when I was younger (and not so long ago, too) and looked GREAT naked, that I was the most shy, not so much uncomfortable then. Now that I have aged and become much less shy, I wish I had been so free when I had the looks to never fear flaunting them anywhere, anytime.
I don't want to have to be saying that again in 10 or 20 years. With me I went from people thinking I was still 19 or 20 and wearing a bikini at 43 to going through a long illness that aged my body quickly over the next 5 years. I had a lot of image problems while trying to date in those years. I am finally getting over it and accepting what I was dealt. So, I feel less and less concerned about being uncomfortable now. I wasted too many years being shy. I don't have a lot of shyness left anymore.

| Let's get naked Posted: 9/11/2009 12:05:44 AM | | It's never bothered me. Which is weird because this body has scars, stretch marks, cellulite, and the occasional hairy toe. ;-) Fortunately, the fella is usually more interested in other bits! | |

I can relate to that, and I admit also to a few extra kilos. Just returned from a paddling trip on Moon River in Muskoka, Ontario. At this time of the year, the crowds are gone, the scenery is spectacular, and the swimming in the fresh clear water without any encumbrance was fantastic. I can highly recommend it.

| Let's get naked Posted: 9/13/2009 8:04:07 PM | Every person needs to place several full length mirrors in their bedroom and see their naked bodies each and every day. Maybe, just maybe it would entice some of these beached whales to lose some blubber...hahaha | |

LMAO ... In answer to a man asking me if I still wear a two-piece bathing suit, I actually told him ... "Heavens No!!! I don't want anyone to go blind!!!" To which he said ... "I think you'd still look nice in a bikini."
So I bought one, wore it to the beach and have not put on a one-piece swimming suit since.
The day that I don't feel okay in my two-piece swimming suit ... then that will probably be when I start undressing in a closet ... if I have a partner ...

| Let's get naked Posted: 9/14/2009 12:48:30 PM | Afraid my six pack is gone as well, but having traveled to many nudist beaches and resorts over the many years, i have come to notice that it really is not that big a deal, (at least to me) we are all human and some hold up better then the rest of us...so drop the clothes and grab a drink and let the good times roll!
