I cleared the browser cache also just in case it was reading a bad file. Oh well... | |

Well, that was a waste of 5000 points. We shouldn't have to change our screen resolution just to be able to "see" these skins. How ridiculous is that? Why don't these patterns show up on our actual ad space, instead of "around" the edges of our ads? That would make more sense. Then we could see much more of the pattern. (like other social sites that allow patterns as backgrounds)
I think the idea is cool, but poorly implemented.
Exactly. Very poorly implemented. Ideally, in my opinion, most of the center of the page would be transparent leaving only the ad content with an opaque background. | |

Posted: 11/8/2009 3:17:38 PM | | I don't know if it will work for everyone, but rather than having to go through all that stuff to change resolutions, I simply hit ctrl - until I can see the skins, and then ctrl+ to get my screen back to where I want it. In my opinion though, it's rather useless to have these skins. When you change the resolution to view the skin, you need a magnifying glass to read the profile. The solid colors you can see with a normal resolution are ok I suppose, but POF should probably shave off about half of those points they require since it's not what people had hoped it would be. | |

Posted: 11/15/2009 10:01:44 AM | | I think you'll find the problem is your graphics. I believe they are too wide, and therefore stretched out your profile, thus your skin hasn't centered properly. Remove all the asterisks, and cut down the width of your graphics at the bottom, then see what happens. | |
