This is never a bad thing when you trust one another. You just have to be careful that if you don't want this to go any further that both of you agree from the beginning. Just like everything else, if you are friends first, it always has the potential to be more. If you start to feel that or he starts to feel that, there has to be open communication so that y'all can stop it before someone gets hurt. Otherwise you risk losing the friendship.

Friends with benefits could work out fine, but I would recommend that you don't pick a partner that is very infactuated with you or madly in love with you... it won't work.

There will be many times when that person will breach the agreement and terms of your arrangement because they had the intention of using sex as a means to advance to the next level of the emotional aspect in a relationship. Meaning b/f or g/f, whatever the case may be.

Eventually I want a relationship with someone who can be my best friend first, it's just right now I am afraid of getting hurt so that's why I am thinking of just the friend's with benefits thing........I have been thinking of ways of finding the perfect guy to agree to this and not be to attached to me emotionally. But the ones in the past that I have found want so much more and I backed off a bit out of fear of being hurt........This is sooooooooo hard to do ;)
So I was thinking of maybe a younger guy, someone who might not want to get so emotionally attached......

I have a couple of those. You just have to make sure you agree that its only a "needs" sorta thing and you also have to realize that it goes both ways. Which means you don't start to get hooked on them or get all jealous or bent out of shape if they sleep with other girls also.

In my opinion friends with benefits can be great. I've had a couple in my days. These guys I've known very well, and as long as everything is out in the open from day one, there is no harm. It really does dill a small part of a lonely heart. It isn't completely satisfying in the love department, but it can hold ya over....lol... It is very important everything is out in the open, becasue otherwise ppl can get hurt or attatched..i think that is the key. Also be safe, it would really suck to end up pregnant by a friend, try explaining that to ur kid.

That was good brawny! I think what you're wanting is a "BOOTIE CALL!" When you say "friends with benifits." ....Someone might expect more out of it. "Bootie call" keeps it fun and on a level playing field so no one gets hurt. BUT! I have had wonderful friendships develope from "friends with benifits"!!!

It is O.K. in my opinion if you you both seriously agree and understand the terms of that arrangement. Also discuss birth control/ STD issues.

It could work if you are not emotional drawn to that person... otherwise.. feelings get in the way and things end up badly. But if the emotions are in check... you don't want anything more from that person than simply pure, adulturated carnal pleasures... then I say.. bring it on baby!!!

I'll agree its nice to have them, but sometimes they are more troubles than they are worth. However, to me its always worth the risk to try. Especially seeing how this are of Ohio is running low on quality ladies that are straight ... times are getting bad. And by straight I mean NOT on drugs.
