| Lip gloss Posted: 6/3/2009 1:54:12 PM | Sometimes as a joke I will get my lipstick on the guy on purpose. But, yeah, if it gets all over it's sort of weird. I've never had a guy refuse to kiss me because of lip gloss, though--and they sure do stare.
Lip gloss and even lip stick usually uses animal fat! I knew this more than 10 years ago when I worked at our family grocery store. This guy would pick up the animal fat we didn't want and I asked the guy what they do with all of it. He said make up. Ha ha. Once, when we were camping, some guy made hash for us for breakfast. My friend got it al;l over her face, and said, "Now I don't need Chapstick!" Who knew how true that was?
I believe there are MANY make-up items which do not contain any animals products any more. Find on the Internet if you care to.

| Lip gloss Posted: 6/3/2009 3:09:01 PM | | This is why I don't wear lipgloss 95% of the time, and never when around a guy. Kissing with lipgloss on is just not something I enjoy. Too messy/sticky. | |

| Lip gloss Posted: 6/3/2009 4:33:20 PM | I can understand.. some are smelly, as in... fruity scented or whatever. It's sticky. Sometimes it's slightly tinted, too. So he's covered in whatever color we're wearing.
While I sympathize... I can't not wear gloss. Lips are too chapped. I do try to wear scentless, colorless and non-sticky varieties these days though.

Incredible. | |

| Lip gloss Posted: 6/4/2009 4:31:36 AM | hmm I wear it if it makes me feel good that day, other days i like the natural feel.
As for my fella liking me with it on or off , that again is down to his mood, some days he likes the natural look, other times ..ahem.. he likes the full on shiny vamp look lol, each to their own

| Lip gloss Posted: 7/4/2009 4:24:28 AM | I certainly understand why guys don't want to kiss a gal wearing lots of gloss and layers of foundation. Heck, I seen gals who had so much make-up that they probably need a chisel to remove it. Can't imagine it would make a face-sucking activity very pleasant for you guys.
I must admit though, that I am addicted to my blistex. My lips are very dry and I buy those little sticks by the case. Have them where (office, car, boat, purse, etc.) and I do get cranky if I lose one when I need it the most. Other than that, I only wear mascara and if a guy ever wants to suck my eyelashes - Eew! I'll move on to the next guy, thank you very much.

| Lip gloss Posted: 7/19/2009 3:51:37 PM | | I would imagine it is common. Yeah, it makes your lips look attractive, but to kiss lips covered in it is like kissing a slice of raw bacon. It just feels creepy. Same thing with lip stick and lip gloss. Ugh. | |

| Lip gloss Posted: 7/19/2009 6:53:45 PM | | I think women wearing lip gloss look like they just gave Swamp Thing a blowjob. Normal lips don't look like licorice sticks, and I'm not exactly keen on licking off the various chemicals and emulsions required to attain the look. | |

| Lip gloss Posted: 7/19/2009 9:34:58 PM | | Gee, I wear lipgloss, not lipstick. There is a difference between the two. Lipstick is highly pigmented and created to stain the lips for a period of time. Lipgloss can be colored or clear. But I have never had a complaint for wearing lipgloss-guess I buy the right flavors! LOL I recommend vanilla cupcake and dutch chocolate. I heard there is a bacon flavored lipgloss-so I will report back on that. LOL | |

| Lip gloss Posted: 7/19/2009 10:28:36 PM | | I'm trying to remember.... I THINK I liked it.... It's been four years.... I mean, I know it LOOKS all shiny and moist... Didn't it have like a slight fruity smell to it too?? Don't SOME of them?? Damn... why can't I remember??? | |

| Lip gloss Posted: 7/20/2009 1:04:21 AM | I've never had any complaints, just the opposite actually. | |

| Lip gloss Posted: 10/18/2009 5:57:47 PM | | Lip gloss is very sexy! | |
|
| Lip gloss Posted: 10/18/2009 7:33:41 PM | ^^^^ Yes it is! I don't leave home without it. (Unless it's to workout...then I don't care) | |

| Lip gloss Posted: 10/18/2009 7:35:04 PM | I dont like kissing women wearing any lipstick, dont like marks on my face it leaves behind. Women look nicer natural liped. | |
|
| Lip gloss Posted: 10/18/2009 7:52:15 PM | I like to wear a very light coat of clear lipgloss to keep my lips from getting dry. My lips are usually rosy colored without lipstick, so I don't see a need for lipstick. I like to protect my lips and lipgloss feels better than chapstick. | |

| Lip gloss Posted: 10/18/2009 8:28:20 PM | Yeah, my boyfriend (and I!) don't like the feel of lipgloss when kissing. It's just too messy.
When worn right, though, it looks fantastic on women! Unfortunately for me, a 22-year-old who is destined to look 16 all her life ( ), I am not one of those women.
|
| Lip gloss Posted: 10/18/2009 8:53:41 PM | I wear red lipstick and my boyfriend and I laugh about it, because everytime he kisses me, he gets a bit on him, and I have to wipe it off of his lips. It is kinda sexy though, me taking my fingers and wiping his mouth clean. I love my lipstick, and he likes the way it makes me look, so we just work with it. As long as I don't forget to wipe it off of him after we kiss, he is just fine with it.

| Lip gloss Posted: 10/19/2009 8:13:01 AM | | Ya know.. I think women would be a LOT happier if Summer's Eve made a beer flavored lip gloss. MORE men would become "southerners" | |
|
| Lip gloss Posted: 10/19/2009 8:25:45 AM | | I have never heard of anyone not liking lip gloss! Personally, I really like the looks of a woman wearing lip gloss or lipstick, very sexy and feminine! Most all of the glossed lips I have kissed have tasted very appealing, and leave me with the taste to savor for awhile afterward. Guess it is a matter of personal preference, thought it seems strange to me that some men might not like it. For me gals, gloss up and pucker up, and kiss me! | |
