The reality is some men need an emotional connection to have sex and some women don't.It really only becomes an issue when the opposite types wind up together.

as for posit? Of course it is possible---there is an entire industry (see, movies-porn) dedicated to the premise. The bigger question...is it sex, or is it a poor substitute? Sex, friends, is best served hot, with a passionate flair, and all the spices that make the meal its very best...and that recipe takes two...and takes developing, not microwaving.

Lastly..Seriously, I know some people have varying degrees of success with this. I've certainly done it for my own reasons. But, I think there is always something. And under these circumstances, ususally not a good thing. There is always something that changes about you, touches you ..no matter what. It may be that it just makes you a little harder (figuratively speaking, no pun intended). Did you know that there is a dna exchange process that occurs during sex? Recombination. Yeah. This is definitely not for me now..and when it was ..there was still no such thing as 'no strings attached'. Even if those strings are you just between you & yourself..there's always something. It's too intimate to just dismiss that. | |

Can you have sex with someone with no strings? Ongoing sex? Sure. So long as both parties know the ground rules and whatnot. | |

The long term NSA arrangements that do work, work because the cost-benefit of the arrangements are positive for both. In my case, a previous lover was unfulfilled in her new marriage so she wanted some NSA nookie. That lasted maybe 2 months before she starts the "three little words" talk. This lead to her trying to put conditions on me. Sorry, our arrangement was NSA....
Even if those strings are you just between you & yourself..there's always something. It's too intimate to just dismiss that.
