Sexy is attitude.......and you don't have it....that's why you don't feel sexy.....to be sexy you gotta feel sexy........
I have no desire to feel "sexy". It is a frivilous pursuit. I'm not interested in how desirable I am to others. That's their worry, not mine.
Just a little follow up.........but aren't you 43 yrs old? And isn't this the over 45 yr ?
What does my age have to do with it? I thought POF allowed members to post wherever they want.

No, I wouldn't say this in the least. Besides, as the saying goes,you're only as old as the woman you feel.
Shows in the way you write.
What is shining through in the way I write is my objection to the way certain people on here are treated. Some guy starts a poorly worded thread and the cabal of hens start pecking him to death, knowing that he will get frustrated and write something even more stupid as a follow up so that they can continue pecking.
This sisterhood completely ignore the silly things that their own membership write, instead ganging up to shred the poor guy's self esteem. They will totally ignore the underhanded comments made by their own little gang that they know is goading the poor fellow on, instead turning their venom on the hapless bloke.Yet, they act so charitably to one another, boosting each-other's confidence with their silly patter. Why not extend some of that charity to the guy in the first place? The unpleasantness could be avoided. It's a form of bullying.They want to shred the poor bloke. Yet, when something unflattering is witten about them, they act like it's a traumatic experience.
Sexy whenever you want or are with the right person is as easy as smiling and having them smile back, a smile that reaches someone eyes and you know its just for you or someone reaching and grabbing your hand.....sexy is sometimes defined by the media as movie star good looks.......but that seldom happens for most of us.
Yeah, yeah, this "sexy" crap again. None of what you have described is what I would define as "sexy".
To see sexy is to be in the moment with someone that only they will do....and for that moment you are amazing.
I'm always amazing. I don't rely on how someone else is viewing me to feel that way.

So instead of being a Dour person get busy with the exciting life of living and quit focusing so much on age...
LOL, I'm hardly a dour person, and I'm not sure why you are convinced that I'm focused on my age. Just because I make comments that don't sit well with the wavy-gravy sisterhood on the over 45 threads, doesn't make me dour.

Unfortunately, no one is initimidated by me - not even my dog or cat. Maybe the next door neighbour's dog...nahh. Just yesterday, he walked right up to the front door and took a dump, while I was watching. Story of my life. | |

Ummm, it depends on when you start talking about it. Sex is not exactly the best topic for beginning a conversation with someone you don't know.

...Well what a coincidence, I just happen to have red hair and green eyes, well hazel eyes...close enough.
In all honesty, I wouldn't want a man to feel intimidated by me...but I would want him to think of me as strong, confident and desirable.

As for the attraction of younger men, they need love too, poor things!
One of the wonders of age is appreciation of love making in all its forms. Painting my lover's toe nails is as much fun as intercourse. Being older to me means not having to posses all the goodies at one time.
