are the success stories for real? I see no reason to think success stories from online dating are any less legitimate than success stories from face to face meeting. You can only get to really know someone over a period of time, so the first two weeks (random timeline) would be a small percentage of a good LTR.

I photographed a wedding for a friend of mine and his daughter met her guy on here. I have a friend who got married from here as well. I had a good start on a relationship from here but it ended after a month and a half.

I joined POF after I discovered a friend's sister who has gotten married to a guy from this site. A lot of the single people in my rural area use POF, because otherwise it is next to impossible to meet a wide enough cross section of suitable people.
