I'm not quite sure if this counts as snobby? But when I'm at the gym and about to use one of the pieces of equipment that I place my hands or arms on I have to give it a good clean first with the spray and tissues provided, I just can't bare the thought of there being someone elses old sweat on it!! urggghh! Then (of course) I clean it after myself for the next person to use.

Another is spelling, grammar and text talk, and mispronounciations(ha ha probably spelt wrong!!)I'm terrible for correcting mistakes all the time!!

loo rolls is a definite actually, got to be the good stuff.
I am a manager for sainsbury's and I know that our basic meat is the same as the good stuff but is the wrong size or has been cut thinner and even knowing this I can't bring myself to eat it.
Is that we like the best and notice the difference or is it a sign outwardly about what we can afford and status symbol? personally not bothered about material possessions but do like the odd luxurious item occasionally as a treat.

Msg 20...I am so with you on that one..or even worse they turn up in a football shirt!!! WTF???!!!

I'm not too picky about the brand of the actual t-bag (he he) but I do like to drink it from my bone china beaker, it makes it taste better of course

And I like to drink wine from a wine glass and not from a tumbler, that makes the wine tast better too

I dont like cheap biro's either, I like a decent pen to write with...hardly snobby stuff, call them preferences

'Im not really a wine snob i think you can find a decent £5 bottle now as a £50 but having said that i can tell the difference in quality so if i could afford it, decent what you get you pay for wine would win with me everytime but i cant so its three for a tenner from asda.

I won't use cheap bags or shoes.

I love european bread its lighter and get that when I can, I prefer anchor to any kind of "its not" brand and coffee has to be Guatemalan Finca Oriflama from the Rainforest Alliance its a beautiful coffee. Can't eat home chips either, hate oven fries type things and won't have a deep fat fryer or chip pan in my house.

Thats about it oh loo roll def has to be soft :)

I can't think of one thing i'm snobbish about! I prefer Carte Noir coffee but as a single mum and currently a student I can't afford it so it's supermarkets own brand or on the odd occassion Nescafe when its on offer!

I guess some might say i'm snobbish when it comes to some foods. I'll quite happily buy 'smart price' biscuits, sweets etc for treats for the kids etc but I refuse to buy anything with mechanically seperated meat in. Things like chicken nuggets etc. If the kids want nuggets we make them. Same goes for burgers etc. I wouldn't call that snobbish though.

Espresso.
If I don't get a decent one, I turn all I-know-all about it and go off on one. I have even offered and sometime done my own coffee in a bar if the one I ordered was poo.

Text speak.
I don't get it and didn't know, before, how nice it actually is to read a whole word.

Tattoo in women...I don't know...one maybe, small...

One thing that i get called snobby about is I refuse to share out the same glass or bottle as someone else. And I don't like eating off someone else's plate and vice versa. And I think it's minging letting a dog lick off plates.

I only ever eat fresh parmesan, never get the horrible stinky stuff that comes in a tub.
Also fresh pasta not dried and would never think about buying a sauce as always make my own.
Twinings for Earl Grey tea but not too fussy about regular breakfast tea.
White sliced bread a no-no.
Cheese, has to be decent cheese, not plastic square cheese or value mild, yuk!
Personal taste though not snobbery.

Wine, Whiskey and proper enunciation...

I'm considered Posh where I live because I make an effort to speak well, I'm rarely recognised as being Brummie (yes I know I'm from Solihull but not many non Midlanders make that distinction)... I don't have a problem with accents but dear God, if the word has a 't' in it then please make an effort to use it when speaking...

Thing is not Fing .... Something is not somethinK... Thirty is not Furreee...

Oh and proper table manners.. Keep your elbows off the table, eat with your mouth closed, NEVER use a mobile phone and at least make an attempt to use the correct cutlery...

vvv I don't think so .... I love the Scots accent, it's not regional dialects that irk me, it's lazy speech.... I hate it when the Scottish are described as being Scotch... No.. Whiskey and pancakes are Scotch, people are Scots!!! .. See I'm dreadful....

Am I a snob? No I don't think I am. I buy free range eggs but always have done.
I'll buy smartprice wine if it tastes ok or Sainsburys own brand. Could I drink wine that cost 15 quid a bottle, yeah, but I can't afford it. I wouldn't buy a jar of own brand pasta/curry sauce but that's because I've tried them and they are horrible. My favourite food shop is Aldi. I prefer Heinz baked beans but I'll happily eat Aldi ones.
I wouldn't really care if someone turned up to meet me in trainers, or a football top.
I eat white sliced bread very very occasionally but that's because Scottish plain loaves may have the nutritional value of a bit of cardboard but sometimes needs must.

Some people where I live probably view me as a snob because I keep myself to myself and I don't drink Buckfast like a lot of people where I live. (That isn't a generalisation, my shop could stop selling food and still make a fortune from sales of Buckie).
I'm not, I just can't be bothered getting involved in some of the stuff that goes on around here and I can't bear the taste of Buckfast.

You might have a problem with the Scottish glottal stop as well.......

^^^^^^^^^^ YES YOU ARE THE BIGGEST SNOB ON POF.

I drink green tea in the morning (it has to be the cheap crap sh*t from Asda) Tetley tea during the day, my own piss before bed.

I shop everywhere, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Asda, B&M Bargain, Bargain store, if i were a drunker drinker i'd go to Bargain Booze an all.

Did i tell you i drink my own piss before bed time?

Just had a message from someone who wanted to tell me how rich she was owning her own home and car. Snobbish or what ?

I replied saying I own my own home, car and own two businesses and when she owned two businesses too I might be interested in a date !

She of course blocked me

Is 'snob' simply a derogatory term for 'those who have standards'?

If so, then I am a terrible snob. I do look down upon those who are impolite, thick, stupid, drug addicts, drunks, or unpleasant.

Thankfully, my life is remarkably free from such people.........

I am when it comes to chocolate, can't stand roses, but love green and black's butterscotch.

And definately when it comes to parenting;- hate to see toddlers wandering along 1/2 a street away from their adult, and the families who say ''get ere now'', and the primary kids out at 10pm

M&S is great and i don't think it's all that expensive compared to some of the luxury brands from tescos or sainsburys, really easy if you're busy and live alone. Their beef wellingtons are lush
