| What do you do to cheer yourself up? Posted: 6/2/2009 12:41:35 PM | Music loud enough to annoy my neighbours and killing the legions of Hell.
All in a days work, you see.
And if the legions are unavailable, a good book or a walk.

Think about those who are less fortunate than me If I'm angry I might take a book and go and sit in the cemetery.....very peaceful! Have a pamper me night with a nice relaxing bubble bath, candles and some soothing music...Leonard Cohen usually hits the right notes!! Read some threads on here.

| What do you do to cheer yourself up? Posted: 6/4/2009 2:00:08 PM | I'm with the tidying posts, I get the house immaculate and go fight my garden. There is nothing better than knowing there is nothing to do for making doing nothing better so to speak.
With that done, comedy does the trick - hours and hours of Scrubs, Father Ted and The Mighty Boosh.
I am sad and have been known to book days off and do just that.

| What do you do to cheer yourself up? Posted: 6/5/2009 4:19:26 AM | | Well I'll take the race car for a thrash, borrow a horse and take it out for a gallop, blow something up, go see some mates, belt out a tune on the ole guee-tar, go shoot some clays, take a long walk, go shopping, go clubbing or, well, I dunno - those are my first priorities! If I'm still feeling down after that - I worry! lol | |

A good diet makes me feel happier and even more so a bit of excercise either at the gym or going for a walk with my littlen.(but also sneaking in a bit of chocolate every now and then...well it is a substitute for something else that also makes me happy but alas(sigh) the odd bit of chocolate will have to do for now! )

On topic : To cheer myself up I take my son for a day out to the local park and enjoy watching him play on the swings and feed the ducks, go on the rowing boats, just doing simple things kids should do. Gets him away from the xbox and out in the fresh air and he enjoys seeing so many different things. Or we go to the local kids activity place and meet with friends so he runs himself ragged, while I have a drink and catch up with my mates too and everyone is happy.
