It’s a real drag afterward taking the arc welder apart to get the gerbils out.

ahaha I am sorry. I am not into any kind of fetish or "role playing" .... I find them very stupid and funny actually (but not in a good way)

My ex dressed up once as a female cop (she thought I'd like that.. what the ?)..... as soon as I saw her, I just started laughing hysterically so stupid! and unnecessary

Dont knock it until you try it. When you have a lover that is well versed in this, its not only fun but entertaining. Its great when you can laugh with each other, not at one another. How horrid did you gf feel that she was trying something she thought coulda been fun and all you did was laugh? I mean how sweet and thoughtful of you.. tsk tsk. and we wonder.. geesh.

A man in diapers....????

I think there are alot of things people do...diapers for example or beat me, bite me, spank me stuff that really isn't sex at all...It is something else...it is some sort of play acting ,made up stuff, fantasy , make believe....it is just a way to not be intimate or genuine..
All of that just makes me giggle, it seems really ridiculous .. when I'm with someone like that I usually don't continue seeing them ...it doesn't turn me on... and it never will.

it is just a way to not be intimate or genuine.

That is not true, like I said before I am an infantilist.

Are you saying that I should not be an infantilist around possible mates? Is that being genuine?

Was the infantilist the OP dated genuine when he lied about being an infantilist? If he had never told her, would he be more genuine? If he told her at the start, would he be as un-genuine as I am for being an infantilist (according to you)?

Why do people refuse to learn?

THIS ALL BOILS DOWN TO PERSONAL PREFERENCE! Just because I find it "good" does not make it good. By the same reasoning, just because others think it is "bad" does not make it so.

The point of the topic was the lie involved, not the lifestyle. It was wrong for the infantilist to lie about being so. It was NOT WRONG for him to be an infantilist.

(EDIT: To add)
Since the infantilist was not up-front from the begining it was a lie. This is a lifestyle, and any/all possible mates should be made aware BEFORE it is "too late".

That, and I got this mixed up with the other infantilist thread(s). Also full of PP pushers (Personal Preference Pushers)

for instance i went on this date and the man wanted to role play and he wanted to be a baby and have me be the care giving "nanny" i was so turn off by it and it gave me a red flag

Wait! You went on one date with this man, and he asked for this? I would think that to be a very bold move on his part. Usually, you want to get to know a person a lil' better before introducing something like this.

I doubt I would be turned on by viewing my partner in a diaper. I'd probably "die" laughing in his face as he stood there!

Another type of role playing - maybe.............

Role playing is the spice of life.. and if you can't get into you've got some sexual issues that need councelling.

Exactly! And that same person should tell you WAY before you get to that point in the relationship, correct?

And no, your counseling needs are not dictated by what you do "role-play" wise. Well not just those alone anyways.

Lastly, the "ewww" part was a little much. What you are seeing in your minds eye is nothing like the lifestyle, unless you have partook in the lifestyle? Then I guess you could say "ewwww" since you have messed around with it.

Indeed; this is something that should be discussed. Don't show up at my door with a Depends or Pampers on, thank you!

Lighten up, the "Ewwwwwwww" was to my visual to a grown man in diapers - for me that's just how it is. Whether you approve or not is irrelevant.

No, I don't partake in the alternative lifestyle. Not that I would NEVER (depending on the scenario) just not my cup of tea for NOW.............

Role playing is fine... provided that you are both into the same sorts of things.
I wouldn't like you described, but role play in general can be healthy/fun provided that both people are comfortable with the scenario.

role play is it a turn on or no?..

I'm not big on the whole role play thing...... but one thing I do like is when my SO is waiting at a bar usually with some "horndogs" (to quote someone else) hanging around.. I like to approach as if I don't know her and pick her up (usually using sexually suggestive language)... if she plays along.. it can be a lot of fun. I've often wondered if the idiots tried the lines themselves after we left.
