Posted: 6/21/2009 4:52:22 AM | 8 Seconds Saloon offers free line dance lessons and has a HUGE dance floor...I think they are giving a lesson at 7 so make sure if you want to learn a new cool dance that you are there then. I did it last time we did a party here, they matched me up with a partner and everything...they do lots of line dancing all night so anyone who does want to line dance will be in dance heaven, but we will also be able to dance if you are line dance ignorant...that would be me ....I love to dance and think i am pretty darn good at it but for some reason I am horrible at line dancing...so I am happy to have the extra spot for us. I know all the girls in the Posse LOVE to dance so grab us or we will grab you!  | |

Posted: 6/21/2009 7:18:39 PM | I have no idea, I know you were on there...it has been a little funky for a week or so...i couldn't post anything for a couple days but could see everything and could get on my regular site but when i tried to do anything on the party post it looked like i wasn't logged in and it kept saying my password was wrong, i had to change the main password and then i was able to get do stuff in the forums again... can you add yourself to the party again? if not, then just post on here that you are coming so everyone knows...Thanks again for coming and helping pass the word.

Posted: 6/22/2009 3:36:15 AM | Hey Party Posse, I don't think I will able to do dinner before the party...just too much to do and too little time...I will be at 8 seconds at 6 so if everyone who wants to help can be there about that time it would be wonderful. You are all so sweet to offer and you have no idea how much I appreciate it.
I am not really sure what the count actually is because I have had a lot of people email me that they are going but I don't see them on the sign up list, and also some of the original people who signed up on the first list aren't showing on this one, and a couple people says it won't let them sign up so we may have a huge crowd. Also I checked the meetup sites and we are on two groups there and there is about 20-25 people from there signed up so far. So if anyone sees anyone new, please welcome them and make them at home. We are so happy to have them. and if you are new, let us know and i can make sure you don't feel new really quick. We are a fun group and you are always welcome to hang out with me, I'm normally the first one there and last one to leave because I want to make sure everyone is having fun. (and i have made a promise to relax more this time so I will try, I promise, cross my heart, hope to dance)
Let's make a final push to get the number up, if everyone gets just one person to sign up...wow...I am loooking through my fave list tonight and do a few emails and see if i can get a couple more to come ...

Well, we will just make it better on Saturday! Those guys better have their boogie shoes on! MJ you already said you'd have your slow dancing shoes on, whoo hoooooo! And hey, I'd like to learn some new dance steps so if anyone would like to teach me some EASY steps, I'd be happy! JJ I think it said you swing dance? Anything you can teach me that wouldn't make me look like the clutz I am?! Ok, so it looks like we are not going to make it to dinner, so I'll just plan on getting to 8 Second at 6ish with you guys! Posted: 6/23/2009 10:08:31 AM | LATEST, LATEST PARTY NEWS: 8 SECONDS IS GIVING US A PRIVATE DANCE INSTRUCTOR FOR A SPECIAL CLASS BACK IN THE BACK BAR, TREMORS, AT 8 !!!!!!!! Tremors will be closed to the general public at that time and we will have the whole dance floor and instructor to ourselves!!!!! We should get about an hour of dance lessons before they will need to close that part down to accomadate for their normal Saturday patrons at Tremors, but an HOUR of private lessons!!!!! How cool is that!!!! Also in case you didn't see it already they will have an area for us for un-line dancing on the main dance floor. So no excuse not to shake your booty !!!! I know the girls at the sign up table will be shaking ours! Everyone of us is VERY single (good thing for a dating site, right...hehe) we all love to dance, and we need some fun! And I didn't forget the girls either, I have guy posse members who are ready to shake their groove thing! And let's don't forget Meatman, who is celebrating his birthday, the man danced for a living girls so get his butt up! Ask any of us to dance and we will be more than happy to get the party started (nothing like pimping out the posse, huh...lol)
