As i lie in bed looking at you
i think of the many nights
i came home tired and worn
you were here waiting for me
your comfort deep and warm
all these years layng by side
you never complained when
all i would'nt to do is lie
here with you just to feel
your touch deep inside
i'm sorry we have to part
this way, put you've worn
out your usefullness and i've
replaced you with another today
but i'll always be grateful
for the many years you have
given me, even though i put
you through the wringer
and tore you apart
maybe you will be recycled
from a blanket to a pillow
and someone else can hold
you close to their heart
(This poem is actually about a blanket and not an actual person ) | |

it's untitled you'll see
for all to read
but as you said
it was just to me
you were so proud
a poet so great
as great as can be
You've lightened my life
with something so right
something so wonderful
someone so bright
Today...I'm thinking about
thinking of you
and all the heartache
you are going through
Oh how I feel for you
so achingly true
I feel baby
I feel for you
If I could take all this pain away
maybe not now
yet soon someday
I will make it all
seem so astray
My heart is out to you
although you're so blue
today and always
ALL yours
and that's forever true

beautiful pale blue eyes i
swear you smiled at me with them when
I told you i would protect you from harm
You made us all smile when
making funny faces and doing the
silly things you do, when seeing
something new for the first time
cooing and giggling whenever someone
played peek-a-boo with you
Now you are gone, taken by God
before you were three months old
leaving us all searching for answers
and longing just one last time
to cradle you and hold
When i got the news that
you had passed after being layed
down for a nap
i could'nt believe my ears
How could this happen? this is
beyond my worst fears
You cherished every moment
you were alive, brought joy
and happiness to all who loved
you even strangers marveled
at your beauty which could not
be denied
I look at your pictures and
the tears come rolling
down my face
and then i realise you are
here still with me
because your sweet memory can't

Posted: 2/25/2005 5:09:20 PM | Yes chuck...that is very devastating and my best friend lost her son the same thing and I just want to say our prayers are with you and your family chucky...i remember what my best friend went through on that day she discovered the same thing with her son! She is still feeling sad about it all and panics now! She has had another daughter since than, it is still devastating! Chucky, you are dearly missed in the forums and right now you are where you need to be! You have friends here you can talk to if you need it! Lots of people praying for your family! We all love you Chucky!

the ocean waves crashing to the shore
reflecting on the past i look into
the horizon and i don't see you anymore
Seegulls are flying overhead looking
for food so they can be fed
I remembered we walked together
and fed them when we got up from bed
I hear the horn of a ship off
in the distance traveling offshore
I wonder if that is the one
you got on when you left me here
saying you did'nt want me anymore
If i could take the moments
that i strayed from your side
i put them in a bottle and throw them into
the wind, and watch them sink into the
ocean, never to be seen again
I should have never left that day
when you needed me the most
instead i thought that meeting was
more important then your need to
celebrate our anniversery with a toast
It was'nt the first time i missed
a day to celebrate our wedding day
perhaps if i showed i cared at all you
be taking this walk with me today | |

Nichole's goodbye
When I looked into those gorgeous eyes,
I knew the meaning of unconditional love.
When I held you in my arms, the limit was far beyond the sky,
Staring at your tiny face, on this earth we were the only ones.
You were my angel, my little tiny girl,
My heart broke in half when I had to say good-bye.
You were all I ever wanted in this whole entire world,
The day you went to heaven the angels began to cry.
The world will never know your laugh,
You were to young to talk
I'll never know the joy of hearing your first word,
You'll never learn how to walk.
I know I can't be mad,
Because you were here to brighten my day.
My heart will always be sad,
"Take care of my baby, Lord", everynight I pray
