So why do we take advice from people who are divorced and single? While granddad and his wife who have been married for 50 years look on with consternation... I am not even sure they are taking any of the advice they are given. I think it's like a game of "mental twister" and they are just trying to catch you making a bad decision. Too bad they couldn't do that before they elected the last three presidents and chose the folks who ran against them.

Yup. definitely OP...I have noticed it here on the forums and in real life situations...a lot of people seem to "know" what the right/best thing/advice is..but yet if and when they are in the same/similar situation they don't apply that same advice they gave to someone else..
