So if an asian woman is available Id ask her out because they dont value money or looks and are definitely not materialistic. I even told myself the next woman I date may be a foreign woman because I know they won't stand me up on dates, and when they actually set a date to go out, they actually go out and make no excuses whatsoever! Not to mention they are not Fat like most americans , they are petite and have pretty long hair , and sex is a big bonus ! Americans have not begun to figure it out compared to the Asian women !!!.... | |

Posted: 10/27/2006 9:33:16 PM | Hey listen first of all who does not want to be appreciated for who they are all of us do , race has nothing to do with it the way i see why asian women date outside of their race is because of attraction alot of them are attracted to other man Black , Hispanic , White or whatever the case might be. Me i am attracted to asian women because i see them not being aggressive and controlling like majority of white girls i meet , it doesn't mean i would make my girlfriend my slave or some stupid crap like that. Asian girls are polite and most of them raised in the right way can't say all of them and they make really good friends not only girlfriends.
So i don't have Asian fever and i am also not some perverted old guy with bangkok fetishes , or a rich guy with half of my hair missing. i am just a normal guy that's capable dating any race but i am simply attracted to Asian women , thats how i feel nothing i can do about it. | |

I live in China and so if I want any kind of dating pool larger than a backyard pond I must by default date Asians, which here equal Chinese girls. There are 5 times as many Chinese in the world as Americans. We must not forget the potential diversity this offers. I don't know why that is...maybe the opportunity never came up where something romantic between an Asian guy and myself have developed. But to be honest with you, it's all about WHO I AM ATTRACTED TO ( physically, mentally or character-wise )...and not necessarily their looks based on their ethnic makeup.
I can say though...now that I am living in Japan, LADIES, you should see the Japanese men. They are unebelievably tall ( over 6 feet ), and just absolutely stunning ( facial features etc ). I am pleasantly surprised at how handsome the Japanese men are...for real. | |

Everytime I start talking to a caucasian man I always get the " you know I've never had a chinese girl before" like wat the hell is this dealing of "having" one.
Asian guys have never been attracted to me, I'm probably a little more ample than they like ( but they have no problem with my bosoms though!)
Alot of asian women are goldiggers (I didn't say all, but alot), if you go downtown you see these GORGEOUS asian women with these pinner looking asian boyfriends of there's and they are all rocking the prada and guccis, yeah they really like you for your personality. I have friends like these, I know how it works.
I think there's a stigma attached to asian women, that we are submissive, a great fu k and us being toit as a tiger, I guess they just want to see if there is any truth to that.
Caucasian women don't really have much of a stigma attached to them
Neither do really any nationalities that I know of.
My girlfriend who is caucasian actually said to me, "Stop taking our white men jojo, keep your asian boys to yourself"
Hey its not fault that's whom i mostly attract and black men.

The idea is that Asian women are traditional, loyal and the famous adjective for them, submissive. With the increasing progress of capitalistic culture in Asian countries and the influence of western values on North American Asian women, these ideas are only believed by those who have little interaction or exposure to Asian women. It's mostly middle-aged caucasian men who are declaring these misconceptions of the submissive Asian women and a lot of it is probably wishful thinking. They are striking out, perhaps, and like to believe in fairy tales.
With the influence of westernization and capitalist values, both abroad and at home (in North America), many Asian women are becoming more independent but not all the "changes" are positive. Like Jojobeans asserted, many are also becoming extremely materialistic and superficial. Since these ethnic groups are becoming a larger portion of populations (everywhere), I think it's safe to make special reference to the cultural changes with their communities. You only have to visit any larger metropolitan city let alone cities such as Toronto or Vancouver to notice the influences on these so-called traditional Asian citizens. Submissive doesn't come to mind. But, you may notice a lot of department store goods and other material items in their possession. The attitudes and values held by some of these women will seem very similar to any other woman of the superficial type in North America or any other Western nation. | |

partner which includes softness, pleastness, respectful communication (not f this and f that),
they maintain homemaking skills, they are not caught up as much in the materialism of the west and instead value human life at the top, you will not hear them say I love my cat and if my cat doesn't like you then I will not go out with you as I have had happen several times,
they go further to please their man and divorce in most of these families is unacceptable so
that they do not run off when the relationship gets rough as it does during many periods within a 30-40 yr marriage. Look at the sloppy immodest dress of the younger females and
look at how fast the NAmerican female ages compared to the asian women. This was not
always true of here, NAmerican females are burning out prematurely and they might look at
what keeps Asian females younger whether that be attitude, diet, love, values, etc.. Materialism has not served the NAmerican people well, especially the females. Jim | |

These aspects aren't as true (or simply don't apply at all!) to asian women born and raised here, who have more or less adopted western culture into their lives.
I suppose I fit into this latter group with respect to asian guys, and I can say that I don't find the features listed above particularly compelling, in terms of a person I want to date. I can't even say they are things I keep an eye out for, though I recognize it when I see it.
What do other western-asian guys think? | |

Sorry, had to post after this one, I have spent a few days posting on another thread more or less saying exactly that.....lol My cats come first.
I've been kind of following this thread because it always alarms me when someone contacts me because they "are looking for an asian woman". I've never really been able to get a clear answer from them on exactly what criteria they are seeking and always feel I'd probably disappoint them. | |
