| Why Do I See More Caucasian Men Dating Asian Women?
Posted: 9/1/2007 9:06:04 PM | Both. I live and go to school in irvine, california. This town is about 60% asian, so I m basically surrounded by asians, especially on campus. What i'm saying is that most white guys that date asian girls are kinda wimpy and incecure, and overall not as physically imposing as white guys that go mainy for white/hispanic and even black females. Not all but great majority are. I'm sure there will be certain people here who'll be up in arms preotesting that they have dated "asian women in the past, but are also very strong, handsome, aggressive ect ect." I think thats just their reactive egos talking. Let's be more realistic here. I've seen pictures of posters here, most are bookish, probably introverted, and awkward around women. An insecure guy who can't handle western women desperately looking for docile gesha girl from asia to be his obedient, but boring as hell girlfriend/wife. Type of men that don't get much play from white women in general. And i have also noticed that not very successful (men who have no carrer or have crappy job, or not very wealthy) are flocking to not only asian, but latina women as well.
It's funny just how many insecure white males here just love to bash on minority men. I have also read some hatefu remarks about us blacks as well. Are you guys feeling better make up all your shortcomings on cyberspace?  It's easy to call someone a loser when YOU are the one who facing all the crap and hard times you yourself are the most likely to generating in the first place. This may come shock to some, but this racist society views caucasian as the best, any half way decent white men will marry or date their own first, especially someone that meets their standards of beauty.
Face it, my friends. If you REALLY were a successful, rich, handsome white guy you all claims to be, you would not be on here looking for 5 foot, flat faced, can't speak english margaret cho clones. | |

i love asian girls, and i'm far from tiny, i'm 6'4" 235 pounds and don't date off sites, i meet my girls in real life. at my work, the black guys seem to get most of the attention from the girls, but i'm the standout. i get the attention from the black, white, asian, hispanic and i love it :P
seriously though, i think too many people are preoccupied with race. when i find "the one" the one that makes me feel everything i should when it's right. i don't care if she's purple. lol | |

1. Ever see an obese asian woman? Pretty darned rare. You see obese white, black, and latino women all the time, (although I'll admit less with the latino women who are pretty hot).
2. Ever see an asian woman berate his man in public? Asian women know to chew their man out in private so they don't bring him down in front of his friends.
3. Ever seen an asian man's unit? Asian women want more, but since 80% of black men don't stay with the women they have children with, a White man is a better choice for building a family with.
4. Ever seen a 50 year old asian woman that looked like she was 30? It's not all that rare, and men that do their homework and see that asian women look better longer are just making an informed choice.
5. Asian women are more loyal, less likely to cheat, and do a better job of motivating their children to excel.
Enough reasons? Maybe y'all other women have some catchin' up to do.
1. Yes I have, Asian like any other comes in all shapes and sizes.
2. No I have not, but then again I've never seen White female do that neither.
3. I've seen em in the gym shower, and from what I can tell they're just like anyone else.
4. Yes, and I've also seen Whites/Blacks/Hispanic women in their 50's looking like a million bucks.
5. Where in the world did you learn this from? The tendency to cheat isn't immune to Asian women, I had friends whom married Asian women, and guess what? Those women cheated!!!
The bottom line is this, you and everyone else have the right to date whomever you choose. However there isn't a need to bash White women or belittle Asian men in the process. You brought up the stereotype of Asian men, but I must remind you there is also a stereotype amongst the African American community that us White dudes have small unit' as well. Some of us do and some of us don't, and I am pretty sure same goes for any race. Do you believe all Black guys are packing 12" heat? If not then please stop with generalization. Truth is, you probably have a small pecker, that is why you brought it up and seek Asian women for their tightness. Lets face it, you came up with five reasons why you prefer Asian women over White(none of which is valid), I bet White women can come up a million reasons why they won't have you. *cough*....small penis as reason #1 My mother is a beautiful White woman so I suggest you take your hate speech about them else where buddy!!! | |

The reason that those white guys date asian women, is because they find them attractive. It's as simple as that.
You can't try to put a specific conclusion to a generalization. It is likely MANY reasons, that more white men are dating Asian women, exist. Someone should take a survey and find out because I am so sick of the shit on this thread.
More importantly, who cares? People that even make this an issue on either side of the coin, seriously need to check their calender and look at the date because segregation should've been put behind us a long time ago. | |

As to where I get my information, I am a social guy, and talk to a lot of guy and women about sex and relationships.
(aka trash talking men and women in bars.)
Truthfully, this is probably why you're so misinformed.
You also made references that Asian women reject Asian men for the 'small unit' as you put it. How could this be when all ethnicities, INCLUDING ASIAN ethnicities are in relative equal proportion? Or have you and your trash talking buddies discovered an untapped biological phenomenon? If so, what are you waisting your time here for? You need to write a book!
In reality what you're doing is taking a stereotype that got whispered in your eardrum while getting a lapdance; liking the sound of it, and spouting it off as some kind of scientific fact.
What I get from areasontosmile's comment about the showers is that he's secure in his manhood to where the size of another man's unit is of no concern to him. How about you? Do you carry around a tape measure to public showering facilities? Or do you just go by idle chatter from people who have had too much to drink?

You're right Jay. There is an expression "Why let the facts confuse you". I think it applies here. There really is no point. Why bother? It's not like people have an open mind or are willing to re-consider their POV. I once thought you could raise people's awareness through dialogue. I didn't have a clue how entrenched and deep seated these prejudices were. I'ts quite unbelievable.
I just heard a story from a White guy that I will share in another thread that really sheds some light on the mentality of some. Watch for it. It's the thread about people being picky. After that, I am not going to bother to post. It's pointless. | |

they have fine bone structure, flawless skin, shiny dark hair. most of the ones i know look put together all the time, and are quiet and respectful. granted, this is not true for all asians but just what my little experience shows.

That said, the "stereotypes" in this case do have a factor in the phenomenon the poster is seeing. Say things plainly, and the ignorant get upset and try to attack you back personally. I feel sorry for the guy who has to try to attack me personally, and imply I was attacking his mother because I said what's commonly and plainly spoken . I happen to believe that there's a good chunk of people that give considerable credence to these stereotypes and make decisions accordingly. Not only do people repeat them to me, but I see them reinforced on TV with regularity. And, correct or not, they influence the decision making process leading to more Caucasian guys with Asian women. So, either agree with me, offer a better rationale that explains it, or refute that it's happening.
That said, I have never judged a person by any such stereotype, and I hate putting people in "boxes", but that's not what this about. It's about explaining what people are seeing. If you don't want to understand what's going on, just believe that everybody is as fair as that, shoot down every explanation, and live in ignorance. If you don't want to see an answer to the question, why are you on this forum anyway??? | |

I have already posted my thoughts on this subject so if you're so interested in em, you can go back and read it. I never said life is always fair, or everything is perfect, but everyone has a responsibility to make it a better. From what I've gathered so far, I don't think you have any interest in helping this country become more tolerant society. You make unbelievable racist stereotype about Asian men, and then gave an excuse that it's alright because the media said so. It's clear you think of yourself as superior to those Asian men. Now lets say down the road you find yourself a nice AF and got married and had a son. How would you view your own son? How would you feel if society didn't except him because of his background? Even at your age, I think you have lots of growing up to do.
Now I understand you didn't attack me or my mother personally, but your reference and many others on here as to why Asian women are better, just boils me over. I will say it once again, there is nothing special about Asian women, they are just like any other women(no better or worse). Stereotypes are used by ignorant people who wants to appear smart, and have vast knowledge about that subject matter. I brought my grandson to work and all my co-worker mostly caucasian love to see my grandson who is caucasian and white mixed marriage, They didnt have problem or even asking about the ethnicity. Its kind of a trip ( maybe it isnt) that in this day and age stuff like this is still going on though we've come a long way. I think all women are beautiful in their own way they shouldnt be brought down to some sexist sterotype or fantasy . When mentioning asian women ( or any) why make such generalizations .
