Because that ties them down more quickly and limits their options. Its sad but true. But remember, you made choices in your life that has those kinds of outcomes.
I suggest for now, concentrate more on your child, as you seem to be so resentful about your dating options anyway. Your negative attitude might cause even the right guy for you to run away. | |

I was at probably my best when I was in high school or college. Now that I am older and alot more chubby I think its alot harder to find some body who can fall in love with me. In the 2000's if your not like Bard Pitt or Angelina Joley you might have to be single for your whole life because love is suppose to be some kind of fairy tale book or something. If you are happy with yourself, then you naturally only care who likes you back, and you only want people who like you for you. You don't complain about those who don't because you know those aren't people you want.
First, do what you have to do to improve yourself so that you are happy with you - and no matter what that is, people will gravitate towards it.
And I am sick, sick, sick of people saying they are out of shape due to being older - the only way that's true is if you don't do anything to counteract changes in your metabolism as you age with diet and exercise to help you stay the way you were. If you don't - you can't blame that on age - blame it on lack of information, or plain laziness. I am also sick of people using Brangelina as a measurement of what to look like. | |

Actually I am happy with myself. I think it says something more about you that you think I don't like myself from what I wrote. It doesn't bother me mcuh that I'm chubby but I KNOW that a guy's that are skinny or have a picture with out a shirt on are porbalby getting more attention that me. It is a grocery store for people!!!! Ever body looks at the pictures and I am guessing thats why you have a picture of you in a bickini. You are just playing the same game. And I used Brad and Angela because it was the first I could think of but my point is that I believe I am single as much because we all think a marriage should be alot more than it used to be thought of. | |

No, actually I post this same pic every summer. It doesn't make much difference honestly, and I didn't post anything about the reaction it gets me, I don't really care. I look no different than people in a catalog - it's not that thrilling (to the normal person or anyone over 13, anyway) so technically it shouldn't get any more attention than anything else. I've actually corrected anyone who does message me based on that pic - it's silly.
I didn't post about the fact that men only look for blondes, or whatever so this isn't about me...I go after the men I like, and most of em aren't here.

Most women play head games, at least most reasonably attractive women do, so they aren't looking for a healthy relationship. Most women crave drama(the whole women dating ***holes ,vs non-***holes thing, they get what they deserve right?). And I won't bring that to the table. I've met a lot of women (met as in someone I might want to date)in my time... and most of em, come off as being pretty ignorant.... make excuses, contradict themselves. Pretty lame..... | |

You damn near have to look like the girls in the videos or a complete slut to get these guys to take a second look at you and that's just not my style. unable to find a man who wants a committment (or at least with me), unable to find a man who I feel excited about, unable to find a man who isnt over his baggage or past issues... or maybe its because I'm overweight and men want a barbie on their shoulders to show off.. again a multitude of reasons... I raised my son and now he's in college and 19, but some men dont want the added issue of raising a child... again, who knows--
its not as though men exactly offer up their reasons... especially if theyre just trying to get sex from you! | |

- Divorced relatively recently
- Somewhat clueless and oblivious
- Don't believe that getting married quickly is such a good idea (what ARE most people's assumed timeframes, anyway)
