Posted: 6/14/2009 7:04:13 AM | Get out an meet people...Many profiles sound like there ordering a pizza..must have this,a little of that,most of those people placing there order will never get the perfect pizza..one thing is for sure before you no it your 40 an 50....good looks will leave you an then what do you have..what matters most is if you get along an how they treat you..go places,there is a big world out there take a chance..money causes problems someone always wants some of it..some people say well i would like those kind of problems....everything you have will belong to someone else in one second when you die....have fun NOW  | |

I don't think it is asking too much when you make plans to come over that you stick to them or take 5 seconds to send a text message or call just to say "Hi! Hope you're having a good day." or something like that. | |

Posted: 6/14/2009 1:49:20 PM | Fact is, I was married for 12 years to the type of woman so I thought most men hope to find. She was shy, non argumenative, and well liked by co-worker's and my family. My son's mother turned out to have psychological issue's pertaining to a father figure type partner verses, a husband and best friend.
Only after my divorce was concluded did I begin to date, met a couple of very sensual ladies who were complete opposite of my former wife. They prefered a friend with benefits type relationship , with which I found unusual but became comfortable with.
with my pending re-location back to florida come early september, I will refrain from dating anyone from the NE part of the country. We all have a best fit for what we want in life, sometimes it just takes time to discover such. | |

I'm single cause i can't seem to find the one every guy i been with just want to play mind games with me! I just want to settle down and have a long term relationship is that to hard to ask?!?! I guess so =/...Ugh SOME men so why are u single explain here if u want =]
I'm sure being a teen mother isn't helping any. Why not focus on college and a career? You'll meet Mr. Right along the way. | |

While many men want their partner to dress up as a nurse, a maid, and little red riding hood I dream of my girl getting into a tomato costume. The red round bulbous shape of tomato girl does it for me and I then toss her into a bed of macaroni and i'll leave the rest to your imagination. I am yet to find a POF'er that is willing to make this fantasy come true.
Oh I also have a tendency to write cheeky sarcastic (lame) responses to silly questions in these forums so for those people taking this post seriously.....shame on you! | |

I am single by choice! I have not found anyone deserving of me, so I would rather be alone.
at first i didn't want to be with anyone since i thought i had the one but found out she had more than one. LOLOL then i didnt date for a while because my kids were young and i had custody. hard to find a girl to go out with that sees two small kids and doesnt think that the guy is looking for a mother. they have one, wasn't looking for one but thats what they said. now, i like my freedom, a girl to go out with occasionally would be nice but not so sure i want the whole relationship thing. working out good this way so far. | |

Posted: 6/16/2009 1:11:34 AM | I am single because of my health. Chronic conditions took a severe downturn. This lasted for a couple of years and the recovery took equally as long. I got about as far down as a person can get and still be able to come back. There were a lot of trips to the ER, hospital stays, a few surgeries, etc. When I had recovered enough to be able to take care of myself she dumped me.
Mostly, it was that she couldn't take the health problems any more. The rest was that, as I had been physically and emotionally unavailable during that time, she had been going elsewhere to get it and wanted him. He was healthy.
What happened to "For better and for worse, in sickness and in health"?????
Karma is a **** though. About 2 months after I moved out, they split and she was over here wanting to 'be friends" again. I said no. | |

Going on one year single and actually loving it! I dont have to maintain it all the time. I can live vicariously through taken friends. Somehow I see more pros than cons on being single. Heck, it's common courtesy to at least respond with something like. "No thanks, I'm not interested in going out because of this reason". Blah blah blah, you get the idea.
I came to this site because I thought it would be fun to try on-line dating, but so far, all I've gotten are stuck up bimbos who can't even give me a simple response!

Posted: 6/17/2009 11:06:17 PM | 2 years ago a 12 year relationship ended when he decided to go back to his ex-wife so he could spend more time with his kids... Most recently I dated a guy I have been friends with for 7 years. That relationship lasted a month and ended when I was in a car accident ( no major injuries ) and he freaked out and blew me off then tried to get back together 6 weeks later. 
I am not going to settle because life is too short and I believe that there is someone special out there for everyone. We all deserve to be happy and spend our lives with someone who is our best friend and lover. 
Just got in from my 5th "1-date wonder" who basically spewed his conspiracy theories non-stop during our 3hr dinner. Now I am getting texts from a POF guy whom I swear is married because he texts / calls at strange hours.... Good men are VERY HARD to find! | |
