| favorite wwe superstar and why Posted: 11/11/2008 8:09:05 AM | I had a coworker who made friends online with one of the wrestling magazine editors. So whenever a big event was headed towards DC, she usually got free tickets and I went along. The matches were fun, but the real fun was usually in the bar afterwards. I got to meet a lot of these guys, and will tell you that even after days of travel, then a grueling show, they were some of the most approachable, nicest people you would ever want to meet. The only consistent jerks were Kevin Nash and Hulk "I believe all my own hype" Hogan. In a very crowded bar the only open space would be a small circle around Chris Benoit, usually because his face said "leave me alone". His in-ring reputation scared everyone away. But if you walked up and asked for an autograph he'd usually smile and sign anything. Ric Flair really does like to party all night long, and Roddy Piper with him. Arn Anderson would be with them, but not someone you'd screw around with. The man radiates "don't push it" and "timebomb". Randy Savage was fun, but my impression was that could change in a heartbeat. By and large the group would smile, talk with, and sign autographs for anyone that asked, as long as they were friendly about it.
I have a couple of different categories:
On The Mic:
Managers 1. The Grand Wizard (no one under 30 will get this) 2. Jim Cornette 3. Classie Freddie Blassie (see above) 4. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan 5. Paul E. Dangerously
Wrestlers 1. Rowdy Roddy Piper 2. Michael P.S. Hayes 3. The Nature Boy Ric Flair 4. Superstar Billy Graham 5. The Rock Honorable Mentions to: The Macho Man Randy Savage, Dusty Rhodes, Nick Bockwinkle, Triple H, Chris Jericho (a really nice guy, btw), Jimmy and Johnny Valiant, Stone Cold Steve Austin
In The Ring:
The Nature Boy Ric Flair Arn Anderson The Macho Man Randy Savage Triple H Jimmy Snuka The Fabulous Moolah Leilani Kai Judy Martin The Valiant Brothers The Road Warriors Kane The Undertaker Stone Cold Steve Austin The Rock Mick Foley (in all his many guises) Billy Kidman Chris Benoit Taz

With that being said:
Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Lance Storm, Rey Mysterio, Harry Smith, TJ Wilson, The Great Muta, The Brian Kendrick all stand out to me aswell as HHH and HBK.

| favorite wwe superstar and why Posted: 11/29/2008 4:44:36 AM | My favourite all time wrestlers would be definately the Hulkster and the Ultimate Warrior, I used to love them when I was a child.
My favourite entertainers have to be The Rock and Stone Cold, duh.
Of the current crop The Undertaker ( he actually fills in the top two sections too). I also like the Great Khali( though hes not really that good at wrestling, the Khali Kiss Cam is pretty funny). Im not into HHH, lately he has become funny when doing a promo. Rey Mysterio (who doesnt like him). Vladamir Kozlov is good. And Ive kind of start warming to John Cena a bit.
I watch the wrestling when I can with my son, I just find it very entertaining. I got some tickets to see Raw live in Dublin next year, bringing the son along, it should be a good night I hope.
