| Soccer/Football teams Posted: 7/2/2009 3:38:09 PM | I support my home-town team, Aberdeen FC. I still love football, but despair at how money has ruined the game to a large extent. Not just the ridiculous wages even average players command, not just the out-of-control transfer fees, but the fact that only an elite, rich few dominate the world game.
Maybe it's the old British mentality and our love for the triumph of the underdog, but it's so boring now, seeing the same old teams at the top every year. Whatever happened to good old competition, eh?

Players ; Gerrard, CR7, Lampard, David James, Beckham and Cesc Fabregas!
P.S I love that Fifa contradict themselves by saying about English clubs spending too much etc - what about Real madrid? spending 180 million is okay? then Sepp Blatter says its 'healthy' for football, lol.
CR9 now...
How has Sepp Blatter lasted this long? Usually being an incompetent ***** costs you your job. >:

Santos (Robinho, Diego, etc
I think you'll find Robinho no longer plays for Santos & hasn't done for a few years . He was sold to Real Madrid and then onto my team Manchester City last year. Unless were talking about a different Robhinio? In which case : ignore the previous statement.

PML: Manchester United since 1997 (and Leeds United but now dont even now where are they
So Leeds were a big love of yours then ? People like you give football fans a bad name.
SerieA: AC Milan, Maldini is the best ever (strong, skillful, solid, loyal
LOYAL.... I'm surprised you know the meaning of the word. [See above statement regarding Leeds United].
Being a football fan should not involve switching allegiances at the drop of a hat and picking another more successful team to follow. You should stick with your club through thick and thin. How fickle ?
So these jokers purporting to support a long list of teams ..... Give your head a wobble . Glory hunting .... band wagon jumpers are not football supporters. There's a big difference . If you can't understand that or need an explanation, then tough , because I'm not going to waste my time giving it to you.
I feel better now having got that off my chest.

| Soccer/Football teams Posted: 7/14/2009 4:09:08 PM | | Why do people support more than one team depending on the context? This puzzles me. Sheffield Wednesday are more than enough for anyone, any time and any place. | |

have you not realized yet that Blatter is a dictator?..........in the last Fifa elections he ran against a sham opponent!..............just like any other corrupt dictator, he solidified his position by allowing the under-world elements to make big-money and in turn they've allied with him to watch his back!

| Soccer/Football teams Posted: 8/17/2009 5:42:43 PM | | I usually just follow what happens in madrid barca and my side united. when I look at spain barca seem to be this sane down to earth club, while at madrid its fireworks and how insane and interesting things go on at madrid which adds the excitement. | |

| Soccer/Football teams Posted: 8/17/2009 8:58:41 PM | out and out AS Roma fan here. On the whole I'm a big fan of anything that has to do with Calcio and Azzurri.
Other leagues I follow
La Liga : I enjoy supporting the underdogs as far as title contention goes, like Sevilla, Valencia et al.
Bundesliga : Stuttgart and also thoroughly enjoyed the "all out" antics of Hoffenheim and Werder last year.
Hell I just love football.
