OP,

Not ALL, I think about other things for about 5 minutes a day, oops, hang on, I'm thinking about sex again. Ok, whew! Better now. What were we talking about? Oh yeah, sex, I mean, oh, is that all I think about? No, I think about FOOD AND SLEEP TOO! And there you have it! See? Even I too fit nicely in your generalization of men box! *tips my hat*

Cheers!

The first thing I thought after I read your post was, how old were you?, early 20's?, check. You are still learning the ways of men.

let's put it in perspective darlin'...you're young..what? early 20's..
at that time of life.....it wasn't the 'only' thing I thought about no
but damn, it was high on the list

then..you know..life happens....responsibilities increase...you have children, raise them..deal with money issues, houses, education bills, and the sex fades..off a bit.

Then, you get into your 50's...divorced...and BAM..it all comes back again and you're free as a bird, cooler than hell, money's all tight and right, everything still works...and...u'r hornier than ya read 'about.

So, yes, I guess the answer is...Yes..Sex is ALL that Everyone thinks about.

thanks for makin' me realize that...

So is sex all that anyone ever thinks about now a days?

Yes, if by "now a days" you mean the last two million years.

So i was just wondering if this is all that anyone thinks about now a days and their life revolves around it. i sure know that mine doesn't but that is just me.

He's probably one of those people who never had a real relationship, and probably just sex buddies.

Sexual intercourse doesn't revolve around me. Unlike men, women can actually go on, and on without sex, because our hormones are made differently.

There are plenty of more fish in the sea. One bad apple shouldn't ruin it for all.

Good luck to you.

No darling it's not. BUT...as many people have said, 20-something yr old guys can sometimes have the lock on being horny boys (not always...lol).

When a man/boy presents that part of himself to you, be respectful but say thanks no thanks. And keep moving. That goes for people of all ages actually. That's just how it is with some folks. I won't even say all men are horndogs. I myself can be that way too with the right person. But I have a filter on it.

Oh and no one can make you BE anything unless you allow them to do it. I would suggest that you go find Steve Harvey's book called "Act like a Lady, think like a Man." He is right on target when it comes to how men/women behave. And it's especially important to know that some guys will go as far as you let them. Setting boundaries right away, REGARDLESS of whether they've brought up sex or not, is key. If you set the tone of how you want to be treated, he'll either throw you back and keep fishing (what's funny is that Steve Harvey uses a similar thing) or keep you.

PS...you're a lovely young girl...the horse picture is fantastic...not so the scowling ones! Show that lovely girl--not the one who's doubtful about relationships. Men zone into that type of vulnerability so quickly it's not funny. Just a thought baby girl.

Well kids want to eat candy all day too do you give it to them?
Some people seldom hear no so they automatically assume the yes is the answer. Points to remember:
Even nice guys want to get laid!
Just because someone likes you does not mean they still don't think about sex with you! (don't take this personal)

In fact even as I get older I do not stop thinking of sex every day. I'll admit it.

Now as far as the guy ONLY wanting sex here is my perspective: It seems as though the class of women available to me are [in my opinion] in a different "league" of dating. I am not fond of dating single mothers, those with weight issues, and those who are older than me. The remaining ones...well those women are taken...leaving me with the single mothers, weight issues, etc...so rather than desiring to date I prefer a casual FWB situation with those women.

Call me what you will this is why men appear to only want sex with you ...

Are there a certain number of dates I MUST have with you before I get to be intimate with you???

Sagman since I'm not sure who you agree with , I did want to address this one point.

No...there's not. But understand this one thing--how many times do women come out here and post how they feel used as a booty call because they followed the thing between their legs instead of between their ears and ended up sleeping with a guy on a first date and not realizing/knowing all of what he really wanted from them? No one is saying that there is a specific time frame for sex BUT...allowing one's baser instincts to take over when common sense is screaming DON'T DO THAT just opens yourself up to the possibility that you ARE a one night stand. That's where many women will stop and consider waiting for sex.

You've got to know that the double standard of man first date, stud, women first date, slut is still very much alive and kicking! Too many men freely admit to hitting it and moving on--and there are women who do too but oddly enough, guys don't complain about that (wonder why).

If a woman thinks that she can handle the possibility that a guy will go "well if she did it with me that fast then everyone else gets the same treatment" then hey, do your thang. I've done it--sometimes it works and sometime it don't. But in this instance, she's right to wait and see what a guy wants before giving it up.

Waiting for sex is NOT a bad thing and people shouldn't be pressed to do something they really aren't ready for--emotionally ready that is.

You're allowing the women you date to hold the "sex card"--if you don't bring it up and don't worry about it then there's no "card" to be held. Try it and see what happens. Focus less on your smaller head and more on just getting to know her beyond worrying about sex. It makes you seem less like an older horndog and more like a guy a woman wants to date long term (that's if that's your goal).

Thanks for all the responses. And for those who said something about how i maybe presenting myself that may make him think that what i want. I don't dressed sluty or comes across as one, so i defintely know that it is not based on how i dress, because if i dressed "easy" then i could see where the mix up would be, but i have much more class and respect for myself.

^^^^^^^^

Let me be clear here...it doesn't matter how you present yourself with clothing...if a man is willing to see you as a sexual being, that's all he will see. You don't have ANY control over what's going on in his head at all.

The only thing you can control is how you deal with men baby. Always remember that.

But once again, why do women make guys "wait" for sex. If women were more receptive to just ONE thing most men want(and need) , and more inclined to act sooner rather than later when it involves sex.....there would be more men out there emotionally in tune with their lover I believe. Unless of course your just looking to get laid.
Personally, I'm tired of women holding the "sex card" over my head so to speak.

Ohh, cut that crap, please!
If the woman is WORTH anything to you in the relationship dept., you will wait. You will be more than pleased to wait. You feel that you have found the ONE.
I have had every man wait until I was ready emotionally, intellectually to have sex with him. This is my "attraction" factor to get hot.

And for those who said something about how i maybe presenting myself that may make him think that what i want. I don't dressed sluty or comes across as one, so i defintely know that it is not based on how i dress, because if i dressed "easy"

It's not ALL in how you dress. It's in attitude, too. It's in your actions. Your way of speaking. The whole package of YOU.
I am glad that you are saying that you have class and respect for yourself and do keep to that no matter what others try to do.
Good Luck..

However, like I said, if you have 2 consenting adults that WANT to be TOGETHER, why the wait??? Its a joke...but I'm NOT laughing.

methinks that when it's two truly consenting adults, they ususally get togther and do the bunny hop...
It's when one who thinks it's consenting....and the other hasn't got there yet...that's the problem. Maybe the manipulations and guilting her into it, isn't working?
Or...maybe she just gets tired of all the reasons she should...but her head is saying "nah".
What man really wants to make love to someone who wasn't there yet and just doing it because you are so impatient?

yeah, it is, Liona
and, I'm sure everyone really should get that by now

but, ya know...it's just that it shows up in every other thread...so, I just make something up about it.....so I don't feel left out of the loop or somethin' hahahaha

I think many humans go to the sex card talk.....in person, in forums because the reality of the enormity of dealing with any relationship, with any other....can be baffling or whatever..so, to some, it's just easier to reduce it down to the base level.

Something so simple and natural, and as primal as the sexual vibe between people, really deserves about 1/100th of the press it gets on here.

So..just make somethin up....

how you doin' , girl?

Hey Kimbo, I thought your post about how when we're young, we think about sex, then when real life responsibilities abound, it kinda fades for a while, then life changes and now, well, it's on everybody's "minds" again at a certain age... but seemingly way too much is right! I'm kinda droopy-eyed this morning and definitely not thinking about sex, just typing about it's hard enough!

Period end of story. Next.

I just love it when people say this. It's a great example of how open-minded they are and willing to communicate and try to understand another's point of view.

hahaha......yeah...I just wanna hop in my car and go and have a real discussion with this one.
I just would revel in the back and forth, the give and take. Hey, I'm ready to expand my mind.....not afraid to admit that...period, end of story.!

hey hey now....my post was real....But, you know, gotta have priorities
..sex before tons of coffee...ummmmmm...I don't think that would be all that'.
It would just probably annoy me.

Yes--- stores, restaurants, gas station, basically every place I go. Must have Women involved or I' am not interested! If a restaurant employs more male staff and it likely I'll get a male server--well I will not eat at that place--chose my gas stations the same way to grocery stores, must be staffed by cute females...................... Anything thats a sausage fest activity--like fishing with the boys and no single Women around (actually I don't care about single status--like girls in relationships)! In fact anything that reduces my chances of getting sex--not interested and if it has no chance, boat in the middle of nowhere, well no way in hell I'll do it Waitress has a boyfriend, even better means if we have sex--she has someone for emotional support when I leave her after sex!

I'm a sex addict---but don't want or need therapy cause don't want or need marriage and long term relationships! No joke when I lose my looks, old, etcetera I'm touring third world country paradises--that little 20 year olds treat dirty old men like Rock Stars--------------------------

Well, your "period, end of story" seemed to be related to your WHOLE post, not just your last sentence and no I don't agree with your facts, just because you lived a certain way. I also don't agree you "come off" as open and communicative, obviously to me you don't. Your line of work is "sales" that is designed to communicate why your product and/or point of view is the right one, especially if your customer is wary or hesitant or doesn't agree, that's the only way to be successful in sales, a one-track mind, listen to the other person but overcome all objections to achieve your goal. So, I hope that's working out for you in the sex department. Somehow I doubt it or you wouldn't seem so frustrated and angry. Although, it sounds like maybe you've been too patient in the past, e-mailing too long, and dating too long, without any sign of physical interest. Is it possible you talk about it so much it's creating barriers to the intimacy you seek?
