One of my guy friends and I were recently joking around about this since he asked why women get SOOO incredibly horny while on that week. I answered my best guesses, that 1)I suppose evolution wise women were less likely to get pregnant during the week the wall is shedding so the eggs don't stick
2) Because guys work as a plunger. When you have an orgasm it pushes all of it out so likely way way way back in time, it was a way to 'plunge' it out so that the woman was less likely to get that infection women get if they have a tampon in there for too long, no idea what its called.

I'm sorry to be graphic, but period blood clots and gets sticky before it finally dries, and not a good sticky either! I'd much rather have anal at that time, to be honest. | |

Thats what its always meant around here. I have always left it up to the guy. I've never had a really heavy one so mostly the guys said yes. I wouldn't ever hold it against the guy or anything if he says no. Just keep the lights dimmer and use towels, I can see how the look afterwards could freak some guys out until they get used to it. I've been surprised by some guys not even caring that its at their house, on their linen.  | |
