ok, about the never getting compliments on the punani, call bullshit. When you're in the middle of amazing foreplay, oral, or whatever, men DO compliment you on the way you look, taste, feel, whatever. Many of us find this erotic, and it is part of the fun. The same way that women compliment guys if they have a particularly nice tool, or whatever. It is part of sex and it is fun. I think what the OP is complaining about it valid. I have a couple of girlfriends who have admitted that the way they looked down there was not appealing to them, and they felt that it was not appealing to their partners. Once friend admitted to me that it actually made some sexual positions uncomfortable, because long inner lips can get in the way of intercourse, and get dry when you may be wet internally and very turned on. One friend actually had surgery to shorten the labia minora ( which by the way is the proper name), and it helped her sex life and self esteem. The other friend did nothing about it, but stayed a bit self-conscious about it. There are many variations on the way women look in the private regions, just as there are so many variations on penises. Some are more attractive than others, and people have preferences. But the main thing is that you are happy with yourself and the way you look. If there is a physical problem, or you just can't like the way you look...fix it. Good luck! Beth

I was wondering if there are any other women out there who are self-conscious of their **** lips. I have puffy outer lips and long inner lips with one slightly longer than the other. I have never had a man say that they like them. There are a few people who have had plastic surgery done to improve their appearance. There are some very pretty lips. There are three pages of nice images at vulvavelvet.org A google search for "Female Genital Cosmetic Surgery" returns about 150,000 hits.
