I take myself out to lunch, theatre whatever and I so impress myself, especially those all so important comfortable silences that I ask myself out again. Added bonus is that I don't get jealous when I flirt with the waiters, I always go dutch unless of course I want to treat myself and myself always likes being spoilt, I like the same food as myself, I agree to disagree (so seems the only one self flagellating is forgottenfreedom...but please feel free to remember the pain, suffering is so much fun if it is another's), I like what I look like (okay admit I don't take my glasses with me...makes for interesting menu choices as well). Would I marry me.?...actually truthfully and honestly I did some five years ago in a formal ceremony in the backgarden with the goldfish and cicadas as witnesses, was very moving, I was delightedly surprised to find I had bought myself a diamond ring and that I didn't require a prenupt. There is a mild problem with bigomy because I am not divorced yet (10 years now) but am sure I am safe..after all why would I dob myself in when we are so much in LURV and it was a secret ceremony (dang not so secret now...but go on try and proove it !!!! . | |

Jebus…With the number of times I’ve been told to ‘go fvck myself’, I suppose I’d at least have to consider myself for a fvck buddy.
But seriously I think the biggest problem would be the fact that I work for myself and everyone knows that work place romances never work out, and then after I’d split with myself I’d still have to go through the pain of having to see me every day at work. Other than that I’d probably be a reasonable catch, I’m fairly easy to get on with and I don’t have any vices…well, none that I’m gonna’ mention here. I’m also a pretty caring sort of person, and I’m handy, which is apparently a plus. Like pookie though, I’d never live with myself, I’m way too messy and lazy.
Hmmm then again, I am terrified of failure... and commitment so maybe we’ll… I mean I’ll[i/] stay here on the fence a bit longer….
Come sit down beside me I said to myself,
