Too bad I don't live in Ireland now, I might have liked to meet Tallacht Guy. He is right about Dublin being overpriced and way too touristy for me! I love the greenery and wild rural areas of countries.

Definetely check out Galway the Architecture has a Spanish influence and the traditional music is awesome. I found it to be a bit reminescent of New Orleans.

If you happen to be in Dublin and want to take in a bit of culture, the National Art Museum (especially Jack Yates exhibit) and Museum of Natural History are a must see and admission is free. The literary pub crawl is fun and informative as well.

Wow, start at the oldest pub in Dublin Ireland, was there two years ago! Temple bar is the best, everyone is so friendly, our weather was perfect. Make sure you get out and walk in the small towns. I want to go back to Northern Ireland to see the Giants Causeway See if you can download some music by the Saw Doctors, brought two of their cds home. Take time and do the Pub Tour, it's the best.
