Well I don't know that you would like to be on the other side of the fence that much either. i get some very rude e-mail from men that are very disrespectful. Sometimes just shy of offering me money. Yes it is hard to find a nice girl but it can be just as hard to find a nice guy that is RESPECTFUL!
You can't take it personal or just give up. I definately agree with others who have said to be more active in the forums.

I understand that everyone isent going to like you and all, but commen respect dictates that you respond to a person the way they responded to you...it's only good manners.
Maybe I was brought up in an old fashioned home, but common curtisoy (I know I spelt that wrong...lol) anyways it's just polite.
Out of all the e-mails I have sent out to meet people none of them have responded back to me, they have read the e-mails I know that but they havent reponded....but like it was said in an earlyer post on this thread, this is not my only means of meeting people.
I guess what I'm saying is, I would never be rude enough to not respond to an e-mail, it's just good manners, so I would like the same respect shown to me. So I understand what car was saying but I also agree with everyone else....I know this is sort of condraticting myself, but there has to be a medium when it comes to online meeting.....but rudeness is never a good thing....it's just down right.....well rude...lol.
Anyways thats my 2 cents worth.......and unlike Car.....I aint giving up.  | |

I do feel that people that don't respond are rude. But understand it's the internet. I seriously doubt of finding a "love" online, although not out of the question, all I've ever asked for is a conversation, that seems easy enough, if the conversation is boring and lacks interest then just say good-bye and move on.
Although, from what I have noticed, and this is generalizing just a tad, females from Toronto do think they are "Hot Stuff" more often then not. | |

Let's face it, when you're walking down the street and someone says 'hello' the majority of us will return the greeting regardless of who said it and what they looked like. Now why don't people extend the same courtesy to email contacts? It's because saying hello to a stranger with an email on a dating site is much more focused on a particular objective. Imagine going up to a total stranger that's waiting for a lunch table by herself and asking to join her. I would bet that the criteria for her to say yes would be much different than if you had just said 'hello' expecting her to say hello back... | |

Secondly I pray your emails dont' sound like your hormone overloaded profile because if they do that would explain alot of why you don't get responses. Us women need to be treated and talked to like ladies not like some prostitute standin on the corner. Thirdly, I see this post in the forums as an attempt to gain some sort of attention to yourself which I have to give credit for because it obviously worked to an extent although I don't think this is what you were expecting out of it in the end.

I do understand that alot of women out there are that way and can also understand why guys can easily turn into a$$holes. I don't have many girlfriends because I don't get along with girls. At the risk of sounding cliche they are catty. So I guess the advice I am giving is don't judge a book by its cover. Like me I may walk around with my head held high but my nose is not in the air how ever alot of people tend to mistake the two.
As for not getting replies from girls. From expierence you must have something interesting when you write. You can't just say " Hi write back" Those are the ones I do delete and not reply not to be rude it just that girls do tend to get alot more mail and I would rather spend my time writing some one that had something interesting to say and I feel we could have a connection rather then some one who didn't take the time to open up. Yes no matter what girls so they all want at least a little bit of the mushy stuff  It is just how we are made. Well bye for now | |
