| 2nd Annual Shelby Farms Picnic - September 19, 2009 - Memphis, TN
Posted: 9/4/2009 5:38:57 PM | How many of you would be interested in going to The Crossing after the picnic. I'd say sometime around 7:30 or 8:00pm? The band TOM****& HARRY will be playing rock and roll music. There is a $5.00 cover charge and the money goes to the band.
The Crossing is located on Hacks Cross Rd off of 385. Let me know what you think.

For some of you that are coming, you may not know anyone when you get there, but will have so many new friends when you leave ,
Ok, i just cant wait, i am going to fire up the grill and cook some burgers today lol.
Cant wait to see everybody there.

I will be attending this wonderful picnic. I will bring my friend Joe, again, who will
be looking for females!!!!! Do we need to bring folding chairs? I think I have a horse
shoe set that I can bring, just let me know if you think it's a good idea. I might bring my
38 yr old daughter also. Will Mike bring enough baked beans? Let me know. I have
a black cast iron pot for french fries, but I think it will have to be seasoned.... Does anybody know how to do this????? Please let me know. Will we have enough lettuce? If not, let me know. I will also make another pistachio cake (green with cool whip topping). Judy PS Ladies... I viewed some of your profiles for Joe, so don't get upset if he wants to talk to you... Yes please bring the folding chairs and the horseshoe set. Absolutely bring along your daughter and Joe. I'll add you to the list for lettuce, pistachio cake and baked bean. It's always good to have extra. I wish I knew how to season a cast iron pot but I don't. I really wanted some french fries too. If anyone can help, please email Judy.

I just spoke to a guy in Alabama & informed him of the Picnic. What time is everyone
going to be at the picnic? Also, for those coming from out of town, there are several
motels right off Interstate 40 , on the Sycamore View exit. These are quite close to
Shelby Farms. I will get a list for those who want to stay close to the picnic. Anyone that is interested in making a reservation can contact me & I will give them the info.
