Heh I don't think anyone has problems as long as they are confident in themselves. I find that way sexier than any "bodytype" and I know many others do as well. I personally have never had any issues finding people attracted to me, and that's about confidence, nothing else.

As far as men, well honestly, I prefer a guy I connect with mentally to one who is uber-hot and has the "perfect" body. A great body doesn't make for great sex, the mind does. :)

I guess I'm a BBW, for internet purposes mostly. In real life people don't tend to categorize me that way. That said, tall and lanky men are the ones that seem to really like me. I look at bigger guys and while I have had dates with a few and relationships with some. But it's the tall (we're talking over 6'2) and lanky that are always chasing me. I like them too. I hope that doesn't make me a hypocrite!

There's not much you can do about who's attracted to you BBW or otherwise.

???

Unless the guy weighs 300-400 pounds plus, it isn't going to be THAT challenging.

Well, I've been told on here that I'm too fat to date. Maybe I'm a BBW in the eyes of the male beholders, lol.

For me, I don't mind some meat on a man's body. I don't want to end up with bruises caused by a very skinny man's bones, if you know, what I mean.

But obesity, now, there is no need for that. This is simply unhealthy, and if I'm expected to take care of my body and be healthy, I can't support a man that doesn't do the same.

Same with smokers. It's unhealthy, and I won't date a man that does smoke. It stinks!

^^^oh that's lovely....antzinsd, you don't look BBW, to me you look average or a few extra pounds.

Maybe they are too stupid or uncompassionate to date. These men are probably the same ones who seek a compassionate "kind hearted" (puke) woman. Check it out the headline "looking for a good woman" or some version of that is what most men use in their headline (double puke). So original. I stay away from those type of men.

We all have our preferences, but to purposely hurt someone?

And just because someone tells you you are too fat to date, doesn't mean you should insult a thin person either. Thin people don't leave bruises.

and if I'm expected to take care of my body and be healthy, I can't support a man that doesn't do the same.

Damn skippy! You can expect what you can offer. That's what I say.

I am attracted to men who are husky built.

CC@ Do the bigger women on this thread find it diffucult to attract men because of their (your) size?

^^absolutely not...i am approachable and i carry myself well with condfidence. I am not going to attract all men and thats okay too...each to their own. men do approach me because of my outgoing, bubbly personality and smile.

Wild Heart,

Please don't misunderstand, I wasn't trying to insult anybody. I was talking from my own experience - I actually did have bruises that one time ... at camp ... that's all I will say about that!

Thank you for the "damn skippy" :)

Rock and Roll Princess,

lol, well I'm pretty thin and have never left bruises; but I'm not a guy. Or maybe I'm actually not as "skinny" as I thought, which to me is a good thing. The majority of people want to be average.

I understand that you were not trying to be hurtful, but as someone who has been thin all my life and actually am self consience about it (people tell me to eat something or to gain weight all the time), it's very annoying to be called a stick and assumed I have no curves. I have been told I have very nice curves by men and women alike. It is possible for an average sized woman to have little curves, not because of her weight, but simply because of her shape and what she got from her parents. I don't go around telling people to lose weight, so stop telling thin people to gain it. It's very embarassing for me. You just don't make comments about another person's weight unless it is positive or you are having a conversation with your good friend about it. What if they have health issues? What if they are dying of cancer? What if they do have an eating disorder? Sometimes I'm thin and sometimes I'm athletic depending on what's going on in my life.

What's really strange is that I can understand someone's desire to lose weight very easily because I want to gain it and it is a battle. I speak with many women about this issue and they never realized until I told them where I was coming from and that making comments like "skinny" and "eat some food" could come across as hurtful just like telling someone they are fat!

I think it's common sense myself, since I was taught that one does NOT comment on anyone's weight.

Obviously alot of men never learned that lesson from their mothers. It makes me wonder what other common courtesy skills they lack. And while everyone knows that it's only a stranger telling us these things, that doesn't lessen the fact that it can hurt even the most confident of people.

Nothing wrong with saying you like small women or large women. You like what you like. In fact, I know that the majority of men prefer someone with a little more meat on their bones and I find that refreshing in this world of plastic and celebrity magazines with "perfect" people.

wild heart,

You make a few very good points.

Luckily, every person's taste is different, so there should be a match for everybody :)

And as for the search for "perfect" looking people: I'm sure once age and gravity takes over, there is nothing left than ... a great character, great sense of humor, and a billion dollars in the bank ..... yeah, right!

Antzinsd: Whoever told you that you are a BBW is not a beholder, he's a tool. May he be stuck many miserable years with a bulemic with vomit on her breath, constatly looking for reassurance from him that she's skinny enough, and frigid because she thinks she's too fat to have sex.
You are not a BBW!!!!!!!! You are very normal and average. I think you should change that in your profile.

..........and exactly what is too fat to date? He didn't think your bones wouldn't support you enough to walk to the car? Would he need to buy a special bed or pick you up with a flat bed tow truck? You'd have to have a special doorway cut to get out of the house? Couldn't make it through the isles of a restaurant? Couldn't sit in his lap without breaking his tiny little bird legs? C or D cup bosoms too much for his tiny little hands to handle? Oh please!!!!!!!!!

I like a man with a beer belly-actually prefer to wash board abs. It is certainly more comfortable to cuddle with.

I don't date "meaty" men...I prefer thin men. I don't think that makes me a hypocrite though. I like what I like, and I've dated men who were REALLY skinny to men whose every muscle was chiseled - even a personal trainer. I don't want to bump bellies with a chubby man...it's just not my thing. I feel that at a size 14, I carry enough weight for the relationship.

I am not huge, but certainly not thin either. But I prefer my men tall and thin. Does that make me a hypocrite? I don't really care. The last 3 men I dated were all 6'3", very thin, and all electricians. (Not sure what's up with that?) I did not search them out, every one of them approached me. Only one I met online first, the other 2 I met IRL. So if the tall, thin guys are attracted to someone like me, does that make them hypocrites too?

I am a BBW for sure, and I just like men! Big, small, tall...taller LMAO.
It's not hypocritical at all to have preferences. We all have them. I find it unfair for the fat chix to get mad at men who dont find us atractive. We all arent everyones cup o' tea. Stop whining big girls, and love yourself. There are indeed men out there who love us, just as there are men who enjoy women of color, blonde, red heads, feet, butts, boobs, green eyes, big man hands, a deep voice, saggy boobs, women who smoke. No one tells thoes men they are wrong for liking what they like, ya know? If you arent having any luck finding men on here who appreciate some flab and some cellulite, and a roll or two, try a site specifically geared tword BBWs, that seems logical to me =)
Cheers!!

^^^^^ You said everything that really needs to be said. I haven't had a problem finding dates on here and I'm definatly BBW. Again though, you have to like yourself before you really start attracting quality people to date.

As for the original question, I don't mind a man with meat at all. I've dated all shapes and sizes. I think I just like men.
