| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 7/5/2005 5:55:21 PM | | I like a man with meat on his bones... but I don't ask for what I cannot give in return... I don't like BIG men... but must have meat on his bones. | |

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 7/5/2005 6:04:16 PM | | ok I confess - more attracted to tall, slim runner types- over 6ft is nice. I really don't like "heavy" men as I think I have serious work to do myself and would rather have encouragement than someone who might contribute to my bad habits. Basic thing is health - and I like to focus on that. Someone who is 20 lbs overweight is not a serious thing in my books but someone with 80 lbs overweight is. I want them to be around a long time and no smokers please (asthma) | |

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 7/10/2005 3:49:33 PM | | I like a larger man but the whole gut thing is a question. If he carries himself well it can work I just can't have a guy who doesn't care about how he looks (the way he dresses) because I take time to dress nice. I have male friends who are bigger and dress nice (and are taken) and even though they have huge stomachs or guts I'd date them because of the way they carry themselves. | |

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/29/2005 11:32:16 AM | RE: whats too big - from a male pov. No such thing. Look - sexy is something you are .. not what you look like. I had a gf several years back 385 lbs! sexiest woman I ahd ever been with up to that point. now in all fairness we met on the net and I probably wouldn't have approached her at a bar but if I could tell what kind of person she was ... say in a loud volume social event .. nothing would have changed... from what DID end up transpiring | |

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/29/2005 2:35:37 PM | | Well I certianly would not hold weight against anyone since I don't want it held against me! That being said however, I Have never really looked at a man with a big gut and thought mmm give me some of that...but if I got to know him, he was honest and had a nice face, funny and everything...well then get out of my way because give me some of that. What I do hate is when the guy online discribes himself as muscular and shows pics of when he was ..like 5 years ago..boom he shows up at the door and beer gut that you can't get your arms around.. BE HONEST, I am, I want no surprises for the person when they meet me in person!!!! That way I know its my personality thats the problem when he doesn't call me back lmao! | |

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/29/2005 8:38:01 PM | | As long as a man, when he bends his head down, he can see his feet, that's fine and dandy for me. Honestly, I wouldn't be attracted to a fella who is 50+ pounds overweight, especially if he huffs and puffs just going up a flight of stairs. I swim, walking, bike ride, hike, raft, and horseback ride, so I'd at least like for him to keep up with me.. | |

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/29/2005 8:56:50 PM | | Ok I've said it before.. I have my preferences...those being.. I like generally average, athletic, broad, a bit of tummy. Never been with a large man before..(well I was with a bigger guy but he wouldnt be what I'd look at as really large) not because I wouldnt, just the opportunity hasn't come up..haven't squared up personality wise with anyone that would be classified as large. Definately wouldnt rule it out tho! | |

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/30/2005 9:55:50 AM | hey thats me .. I don't have a 6pack .. I have a 2pack .. and a Keg :}~ | |
|
| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/30/2005 10:50:20 AM | | Well I guess it is up to each person and what they like. Myself, I have dated all types of men. Shorter, tall, skinny and heavy they are all different. I take a man for who they are and what they are. I am a hypocrite when it comes to hairy men. But that is me! | |
|
| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/30/2005 12:05:27 PM | I don't mind 25-30 lbs overweight, in fact I think it's cuddly and comfortable...but if his weight affects his mobility a lot, I don't feel as attracted. As long as he has a great face and is reasonably active, not a couch potatoe...I'm content. In other words, I'm about as comfortable with someone as overweight as I am...a few extra lbs...and that is not morbidly obese.
For some reason, I get turned on by a man with a healthy appetite for good food. I don't mean fries and hamburgers, I mean healthy food. It's neat just to sit and watch him eat...is that a fetish? LOL!

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/30/2005 12:19:53 PM | | I admit that I am one... I am a BBW but have always been attracted to military men. So that means I love men in shape. | |
|
| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/30/2005 12:20:58 PM | | I prefer big guys.. over the smaller thinner guys.. but everyone has there preferences I don't think its necessarily being a hypocrite for a large woman to like smaller men.. just like some smaller men prefer bigger women.. its just a choice like everything else in life. | |

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/30/2005 12:21:42 PM | Crazy, from your photos..

|
| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/30/2005 1:47:51 PM | Welll to answer the original post ZGIRL.... I used to be much thinner than I am right now, I am a size 16 and actually feel very sexy at times....I have dated MAINLY men whom were smaller than myself, mainly from fear, I felt that for me a smaller man would be much eaiser to get away from if he suddenly turned violent.... BUT in all honesty, my fiancee, [whom I met here on POF] is NOT at all like any man I have previously dated, he is bigger, but ya know what, I adore him, I find that it is nice to snuggle up with him...I am perfectly happy with him being who he is.... | |
|
| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/30/2005 4:42:42 PM | | Well I'm a chubby female and I like thin guys but I've dated guys that are overweight and never had a problem with it... I just find myself more attractive to thin guys. | |
|
| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/30/2005 6:45:04 PM | | I am by no means a small woman but I am also very active ( as in I run +30K/wk, 10K on Sundays. etc) I can't really say I have a preference for body type/size except to say that my attraction is for someone who can atleast keep up to me or inspire me to move even more. Dating for fun is fine but thinking in terms of anything long term I am not interested in someone so overweight that their health is an issue OR that they have sooooooo much excess weight that I have to LIFT parts UP with two hands to find OTHER PARTS or they lie flat on their back and nearly suffocate. | |
|
| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/30/2005 7:37:38 PM | Ahh... Kilmer...you have me laughing so hard. Everytime I end up laughing in these threads, it usually has your name in it somewhere! We will chat soon I'm sure.... (2pack and a keg) Too funny...
I may be a bigger gal, but it's still fat on a 27 yr old body, who hasn't had babies so.... it is not excessive or repulsive in anyway, shape or form. I can still carry myself in any activity and haul my ass up the side of a mountain. (If needs be...haha) That, (and humour and intelligence and wit and good teeth and honesty and, and and....lol) is all I would want or expect from anybody else to find them attractive.
Sheesh....is it to much for a bbw to ask for ya think? Not friggin likely!!!
|
| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 10/1/2005 9:11:55 AM | I am a newbie here but my opinion is probably as inconsequential as anyone elses.
I have dated up and down the spectrum from Calista Flaca skinny to much larger than I would ever admit to in any public arena.
In general, I would say that it is personality way over body. Within certain limits. For example, I will not date a woman unless her largest dimension is her bust. I don't care if she is flat chested, I just don't find round or pear shaped women appealing to me. Give me a nice hourglass-ish figure and the weight becomes a secondary consideration to how she carries herself.
The thing I love about dating on the Internet is the fact you do get a chance to learn a little bit about someone before you ever have to make any type of commitment to meet or talk to them. In a bar, with it's smoky, dimly lit and noisy background, it is hard to make value judgements based on anything but appearance. Many really great folks lose out because they just don't outwardly project their appeal. This is complicated by the fog of alcohol and the fact you really don't have any other input but visual to make a mate selection.
I would take 165 lbs, considerate, caring and affectionate over a 105 lb superattractive, neurotic, high maintenance, gold digging b*&^h any day of the week. But that is not to say I wouldn't look at the thin one when she parades by in her Britney Spears slutwear.
|
| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 10/1/2005 1:15:45 PM | I've dated skinny men, and recently a larger man.
I would much rather date a man who I felt like I wouldn't squish, just by cuddling up or leaning on him etc. The freedom I felt actually being able to totally relax and use him as a pillow... nice.
But OVER ALL: If he can draw me in, I'll give him a shot. Hold my interest with what he has, have a bit of confidence in who he is and maybe try more than once... and I'll find him more attractive than my first impression. NO PROMISES, but if we can be engaged in conversation or 'get' each other...there's possibility.
