| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/6/2009 7:56:26 AM | ilovehistory, wanna get married? On the comment about exercise actually causing weight gain, I can believe that. I made a new year resolution to walk atleast 5 days a week for 40 minutes. I've stuck to it , when I recently went to the doctor he said I'd lost a whole 1 POUND! But he said walking was the best exercise and keep at it. So I have but I'm not checking the scale. I'll just get depressed. | |

That sort of exercise isn't going to make you lose significant weight. You have to create a caloric deficiency. One pound of fat = 3500 calories. For example. if your body needs 3000 calories a day, and if you eat only 1500, you will create a 1500 calorie deficiency, and drop one pound of fat every two days.
Disclaimer: consult your doctor before starting any weight loss program.

I've been doing the walking about 4 miles a day (which probably equals 40 mins)... ALONG with the caloric deficiency. I also weight lift and have a job that requires a good amount of manual labor.
... I have lost 40 pounds in one year. I understand to the "instant gratification" society, that sounds like not a lot of work/weight in a year, but the truth is, it is a healthy slow process. Have to remember, one doesn't get fat over night... one will not lost the fat over night.

Posted: 9/26/2009 12:15:19 PM | Posted: 2/17/2008 12 15 PM O ccasionally...I would email an overweight or chunky girl to see if she responds...to test the waters of superficality amongst women on dating sites...and sure enough I was ignored or turned down by even OVERWEIGHT women.
See how pathetic that is?
^^^LOL Wait a minute, you mean even the tubbys wouldn't respond back? Wow, that is rather pathetic...And here I thought most of them just wanted to be loved and wanted by that special someone...

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/26/2009 12:50:54 PM | | We bbw want to be loved and wanted by that special someone who we deem worthy of our love and respect. even "tubbies" ignore men who think others are pathetic. | |

| Any bbw hypocrites? Posted: 9/26/2009 3:20:28 PM | | Just chiming in to say I think there is a double-standard when it comes to overweight men. I have been on here for maybe a couple of weeks, and so far the only responses I have had (from those that initiate contact with me) are those who clearly just want sex. I have initiated contact with several others that appear to be sincere in looking for a LTR, overweight men several larger than my own frame, and I get no response whatsoever. I certainly don't think I'm an ugly woman, but what do I know? Not much apparently. | |

I can spout off all I want about wanting a man of a certain height and weight ratio, but there are plenty of men in that catagory I am *not* attracted to, and plenty of men not in that catagory that I *am* attracted to.
So yes typically, I like a guy to be about 6 to 6'5 feet tall, between about 220 to 270 lbs. . .(I'm a total hypocrite AAAHHHH!!!!) but that doesn't mean I've never been into a guy who didn't fit that bill. . .and vice versa plenty of guys who are that height and weight ratio don't do it for me.
I doubt they are losing sleep over me not finding them attractive.
You shouldn't lose sleep either if somebody doesn't find you attractive.
