Posted: 12/27/2005 1:03:41 PM | Here's my perspective as a BBW myself. I have dated from skinny to overweight, and from no so great looking to gorgeous. Each and everyone was different in how I was attracted to them. Once had a great smile and just made me melt. One had I eyes I could stare into forever. There was something different about each one that I had chemistry with. Some that werent' so great looking at the beginning became even more handsome the more I knew him.
It's all relative as long as the chemistry is there, alot of men can grow on you. Do I have a preference though? Of course, I would like someone taller, and a stocky build, that mix between muscular but not really and he was on the soft side. Does that make any sense?? Ha ha ha ha ha.
I dont' think I'm a hypocrite 'cause I know I have like all sorts. It's just that spark that happens, it's either there or it's not. I have no problem telling someone that it's not there if it isn't. I wouldn't want to waste their time or waste my own.
I have like all sorts of guys here on POF, some others would consider not so good looking but I saw something in their pic. Others I haven't liked straight away. But it was the combo of their profile and the pic. I can't stand someone who puts a pic up and doesn't fill the profile out anymore then " I have interests, email and I'll tell you"..Doesn't sound too appealing to me at all.

I have dated up and down the spectrum from Calista Flaca skinny to much larger than I would ever admit to in any public arena.
why would you date someone if you wouldnt want to admit it to anyone???
ALSO, to answer the question... someone had an answer that I read and realized that is exactly how I feel. Size doesn't matter, but I think that how you dress and groom and carry yourself has a major impact on how I feel about you as far as attractiveness. | |

I'm a BBW and I have always been attracted to men who are taller than me with some meat on their bones, but I am not generally physically attracted to men who are over, say 300 lbs (depending on height). I say generally, because each individual is different, and sometimes there are attractive qualities about an individual that are not physical (and some qualities that physically attractive men have that are not attractive).
Just because I'm bbw doesn't mean I don't have physical preferences myself. Does that make me a hypocrite? Not sure. LOL

So to say I am a hypocrit for not liking really heavy men is false. I too have my likes and dislikes, and I personally go for men who are anywhere from fit to a little chunky.
