Posted: 4/25/2006 6:56:20 AM | Another Canadian here eh....and I totally date any kind of guys....Big guys, skinny guys guys who look like six pack.....I think if you both like each other it shouldn't matter.....although a man with some meat on his bones is also nice.......
My only requirement is that they are taller than me....I'm 5'10 as it is and I need someone that I can walk arm in arm and not feel akward........

Posted: 6/25/2006 5:55:57 PM | I'm not going to not get to know a girl just because she's got a few extra pounds...there are tons of extremely beautiful larger women out there. I draw the line at the type of girl that's bitter and angry because men don't give them the time of day and the floor shakes every time they walk past and they're not willing to try and do something about it - but that's a psychological problem - most larger women aren't like this, they're happy and full of fun and wonderful to be around, I may or may not be attracted to them depending on them, not depending on what their weight is or how tall or short they are - everyone's different.
I've only ever dated a couple of "skinny" girls, I wouldn't personally have called them skinny, they were firm and in shape and a lot of fun, but I'm equally not going to date a girl that's so hung up on her body that they watch every single calorie they eat and complain constantly that haven't had 4 hours today to spend at the gym working off the 100 calories they had for breakfast!
But we're talking about extremes here...most girls are somewhere in the middle.
I'm an average sized guy, 6'0" tall, 205lbs, I've got a little bit of a belly, not much, but I go to the gym and work out and I'm very active, so I its kept in check - I wouldn't say I've got a beer gut, but I've not got abs of steel...that are readily visible.
Some larger guys want skinny girls, some skinny girls want larger guys, some larger girls want larger guys, some skinny girls want skinny guys. I don't feel it's right to call someone a hypocrite based on their taste...only by their attitude towards others that they don't reflect upon themselves. | |

Do I like big men yes, if they are tall too. Do I like fat men....nope...not at all. Does a fat man always have to like fat women??? We are all individuals with different tastes in people...period. I like to think that all people men and women are much more than the bodies they live in. Beauty is skin deep...true character lasts a lifetime.
I also don't like men with long hair and beards..especially the long hair. Bald is good. I like clean cut men the best...they are the sexiest and most attractive in my opinion. I like men who smell good

I don't refuse to date heavy men...I do prefer a more average sized man. I have dated heavier men, I did have an intimate relationship with one of them, and he had a large gut and it got in the way in certain sexual positions. That, however, can be remedied, but I'd rather be with someone I could be intimate with in any position with ease. A little meat on a man never hurt though, I am just saying a big gut would be a slight problem for me. I also don't really like the look of a big gut. But guys that are my age rarely have a huge gut anyway...at least not many I have come across. | |

When I was 170lbs. I was attracted to a certain body type, when I got all the way up to 240lbs (and a size 44 pants) I still LIKED the same bodytype..then wehn I was 215 lbs..nothing changed..and now that I am about 195lbs yep, you guessed it I still like similar bodytypes.
In other words my attractions didnt get larger or smaller based on my own weight. Only my waistline changed!

Exactly. So long as you date who you are attracted to, but also dont expect others to change what they like to accomodate your size.. then you are just following your bliss, and not being a hypocrite. Big girl likes skinny guys? thats fine... and she isnt wrong untill/unless she turns into one of the banshees who screech at every man who dosnt want to date her for her size. | |

Posted: 10/13/2006 9:56:18 PM | hmmm . . .seeing as I would be a person that fits the OP's description I think I should offer a few words here (I'm 140 lbs and not fooling anyone into thinking that I'm a beefcake anytime soon. mind you I do work out and am quite active so I am in good shape and have the previously talked about six pack and meat on the bones, so I would call myself lean an muscular and not skinny but I digress)
it would seem that from my personal experiences that most BBW are in fact so called hypocrites for dating me and admitting that they would like what I have to offer physically over a teddy bear guy(there are also plenty of BBW that would like the teddy bear guy I just mentioned, I just haven't met much of them in my life) and I don't think that they're being hypocrites at all. the ones that I've known and/or dated just happen to like men who are lean and muscular and they are entitled to being attracted to what they want. wether that be lean an muscular like me, or the teddy bear, or any point in between makes no difference as long as you're happy with what you find attractive. | |
