Yes, mukluks are boots. Pretty comfy and good down to -30 or so.
Muktuk, on the other hand, is fermented whale blubber.
When in Alaska, it's good to know the difference between the two.

Haven't really changed what I've used over the years...I am a Mary Kay person and always tried to take care of my skin when I didn't have wrinkles. Same product, same girl, new laughter lines. It's all good!

I clean my makeup off at night with coldcream and a washcloth...that is it...I've recently quit coloring my hair in the last 3 months and I have silver chunks coming in around my face and on top...I don't freak every time a see a wrinkle-most if them are from smiling...I believe I've become more comfortable with myself the older I get. I guess time will tell if I feel the same in 5 or 10 years, now I feel good to be my age.

After my shower I use either Vitamin E skin cream, or St Ives Vanilla cream with Vitmain E (makes me want to bake chocolate chip cookies, though). I have very painful dry skin due
to hormone imbalnce (peri-menopuase). I sometimes use Vitamin C oil (which I found at the Dollar Giant, of all places!) around my eyes. I try & avoid the sun, since sunscreen does
not work for me (my doctor can't figure it out, either). I rarely wear make-up, only eyeshadow if that.

I told my boyfriend I might stop colouring my hair with pink or blue streaks, when I turn 50, maybe. I'm going to stick with the blonde though, I like it.

Sunscreen is #1! Other than that it's face washing with a good soap and a touch of moisturizer. Good genes help more than anything. My white hair - wouldn't colour it for anything. Okay, in the 80's it was partially dyed blue with woven in dreadlocks (musician), but now I just keep it trimmed and styled. I like it still approaching the longish side, but that's just me and I like it.

I put lotion on my hands every night and every morning. Sometimes even during the day. I work with my hands and I am also taking massage classes. Strong hands are good for both but rough hands make for a scratchy massage. Wrinkles and such I have earned every one and most of them came from a big smile.

I also put lotion on my hands everyday as well as a foot cream for my feet. Being a distance walker my feet are very important to me. They are my means of getting from point A to point B since I do not own a car at the present time. I feel this forces me to do a whole lot of walking.

I eat a lot of green olives. It seems the oils in the olives have helped.

Also, I don't use any soap on my face (rest of body, yes, but face, no) I've always taken the wash cloth and de-brided the skin. That is, using the cloth to remove old, dead skin (which we make EVERY day).

May not be perfect, but seems to work for me.

<-----------------------admits to drinking a lot of wine! Yes, it does make "you" look better! lol I want a wine glass, after all, it's only fair, they have a beer mug.

I heard a long time ago it's not good to wash your face with soap. I tried lots and lots of different face "washes" and creams but they never took the make-up off as well as good old soap does. I think the main thing is to moisturize right after. Using just a washcloth and water exfoliates to a degree but not sure it would clean as well without a cleanser. Once in a while I'll use a clay mask or a gentle exfoliater.

I also use moisturizer on the whole body after every shower or bath, a must! I rarely sunbathe but I do have sun damage from years and years of sunbathing and beaching it for whole weekends, and only use sunscreen when I know I'll be in the sun for a longer duration than just walking my dog or in and to shade.

Definately and so do nuts etc.. I am curious do you use a loofah when you shower or an exfoliate for your body?

I never use soap on my face.. Nor do I eat sugar which is linked to wrinkles..

Should we drink it or wear it?
OK, Noxema or mild soap and water to wash my face. I do use a tinted moisturizer or foundation with a suncreen in it. So many plain sunscreen products make my face break out. I actually look better with a bit of a suntan. I do color my hair, and at such time the color growing out is an ATTRACTIVE( i.e. not looking like dirty dishwater) gray or white, I'll quit.

I don't care to spend a lot of time and money on cosmetic wrinkle fixers, Hell will ice over before I let a toxin be injected into my face.

I refuse to let a little thing like a wrinkle throw me into a tizzy.

well, all of my lines are 'smile' lines, so I don' t get that bunched up about it, ya know.
80 grit sandpaper works pretty good for some of those stubborn spots.

but, then again, one of my best 'beauty secret's that I use to cover some lines is.
well...I grow a beard.

I razor off the top layer of skin on my lower face every day-I thought about doing the eyelids but thought "Nope. Just too risky."

The best beauty creme is a smile and a positive personality. I can't imagine a bunch of 50 year old men using some type of face creme, spending time in front of their mirror trying to hide what's natural...funny

The lines on my face are there because I have spent a lifetime (so far) smiling and laughing. The lines remind me constantly of those good times in life and inspire me to continue living in spite of what the day to day may bring.

The cynics will bemoan that the above paragraph sounds like a load of shit. The paranoid will look over his/her shoulder and wonder if everyone notices the lines and therefore will pass them over. The optimist will welcome more lines.

I say, bring on the damn lines. At this point, why do I care what anyone else thinks anyway?

I love the laugh lines some men get around their eyes. That "craggy" look is nice. (Tom Selleck, Clark Gable) .

I've been fortunate. I used to be a sun-worshiper and my face came through it pretty well. No leather look or spots. I use Neutrogena face wash and that's it. The wrinkles that I have are from laughing and genetics.

Lately, I use dead sea mineral facial peeling and then moisturizer, but I don't know if it is helping or not. I only do it once a week.
