I'm in Lakeland this weekend. Join me up @ the North Side party. AND I have a room (as usual) for any post-party activity.
Legitimate question about fireworks. All I can find is the Joker Marchand stadium $ event.
Tampa & other locations around have annual public ones. That's why I ask. I like fireworks. | |

Posted: 6/27/2009 11:37:00 AM | CK-1, Lakeland, Winter Haven and Bartow all have annual public fireworks displays. We just can't have any there at the Holiday Inn per their request. And you better go sign up for that party you are attending tonight so the ladies will be prepared to greet you.

Posted: 6/27/2009 11:47:27 AM | Okay, finally got the drink specials and they do sound yummy! Oledog we hope you enjoy your family time but once you are able to break away, come on over to the party as you know everyone will be wanting to see you!
Right now, the women have taken over this party and we do need more men so there are enough to go around - men start signing up and ladies remember to send out those special invites as the more the merrier!
Hope everyone is having a great day today CK I'm with Browneyes I won't believe you are coming to a party until you walk in the door!
I like that Lindee has called out a few names of some men that say they may be coming but haven't signed up so gentlemen, make my co-host happy, take the plunge and sign up. | |

I am getting excited about the celebration and want all my pof  to help me celebrate....I know one ex-pof'er got married today and I wish her all the luck. she didnt meet him on here but another site and within weeks was engaged. so it can happen. I want it to happen to me where is my sweetheart hiding......

Point well taken, ladies. That's why anymore, I sign up just 3-4 days B4 event, when I'm reasonably sure that all systems are go. Which I did for the Pound Party. Party itself went pretty well for most ppl, I think. Pix & chatter tell the story. I was only @ about 60%, so only got a couple of private pix.
Just got back from my niece-in-law's. She says the Lakeland public fireworks are Friday 3rd at the big lake downtown (1st Friday). However, I've got a late night non-social-club Comedy Club gig I'm involved with Thurs, 2nd. I hosted a few little POF comedy nights back before everyone's time here. Probably time for another 1, next best act available. | |

I know alot of you dont sign up you just show up and that is fine....but if you want the female to come they need to see if there is anything there that interest them.....
I am trying to think of something unique to wear to celebrate the independence day...that firecracker outfit did nothing for me.... I was told I was hot enough  whatever

Okay, men I need you to start signing up so the ladies know you are coming so they will realize we have some gorgeous men that normally just show not sign up but we need to make sure they are aware of that - ladies start sending out some personal invites to help the men catch up please!!!
Oledog you are the "ALPHA DOG" as I told you privately so wear it proudly! I heard that LadyDi brought you a gift that "fit" you to a "t"
I am so glad you will be coming as you always make the parties a blast! Yes you need to behave at the party and not bring "fireworks" to the party as you are prone to do, lol
I know this chickie is so so ready to party and my favorite drink is the "blue-light" special! I will try to behave and act like our sweet Browneyes so I will have to limit myself on those blue bunnies! (Remember I say try)
This is a party I am so so so looking forward to and truly can't wait until Saturday gets here - this is a week I think will drag out versus fly by for me! I'm definitely excited!

Tell ya what, there are some decent-looking hounds that show up once in a while, now. Jus' sayin. I usually miss the grabbing-fish-in-a-barrel treats.
But, to borrow a term from Hebrew National, "we answer to a higher authority". LOL
In other words, guys, if you can get free, GO. Cause you don't wanna frustrate these women. I'm talking Miss Suzie Q next door turning into a 5th-degree black belt overnite. And you can't do this to us regular guys. When we come back from our private wars, we want something like a Stepford Wife, not Gloria Steinem wanna-bes. Amen? | |
