Dawn your up first for singin as I can tell its gonna take my co-host, Red, 5 or 6 Blue Bunnies before she gets up there and sings a duet with me. Rex, I know you have a longer drive than most that are coming to the party, so be careful to and fro o.k. Our party is shaping up nicely but slowly. I have had a few tell me that they will be coming later after their family festivities and that is great. Just whatever time you can get there.is fine. You know we'll be there till 1:30 a.m. so come on out and help us celebrate the 4th with a great group of fun people. See ya'll tomorrow.

Posted: 7/4/2009 8:31:01 AM | Hey everyone, hoping we have a great time tonight; however, I'm not very successful in reaching our DJ to tell him to bring his karaoke equipment - thought he always had it with him but just found out he doesn't and so I am trying to track him down to make sure he brings in - everyone wish me luck that I am able to because if not, guess you can belt it out in the bathroom! No one seems to have his number so I am apologizing in advance if I can't reach him!
Glad to see some new  have signed up yesterday and today - make sure to say hello if I don't see you first!

I want to celebrate not only our great nation but to all the military too. My son is leaving for Afganastan in Sept. I will be missing a party or two to go visit him in Alaska ......Lets pary all our Men and Women come home safe and that their families stay safe too...

Definitely ready to do some dancing tonight so I hope we have enough men to go around as I need a few to dance with and I know the other ladies do as well! So, even though you might not have signed up and are reading the threads, come on out and join us for some  and . Bring any and all your friends as the more the merrier - second what Lindee said in making sure to have yourself a designated driver, take a taxi or better yet stay at the hotel and get the discounted rate by saying you are with POF!!!!

Posted: 7/4/2009 4:30:20 PM | my youngest son just got in ..he been out to sea for the last month...you can just imagine the extra oomph! this adds to the holidays when he gets to come home on one! lol...he's in the Navy...and i have been wearing my PROUD NAVY MOM tee shirt he got me for Christmas one year all day today in celebration of his homecoming!
by this time next year i will have a son in the army as well..sigh..i wont know which shirt to wear..
i am going to try to make it to the party a little later on..some of you know i am having trouble with some of my meds and i have alot of upcoming dr appts this week so i may have to sit this one out....i will try my best to make it but if i miss this one its only to have more energy to party at the next one..
