Again these women are feminine energy, The God sides with the Goddess, and the Goddess sides with the God, and through this Divine union create balance, not because of a male dominated society, bit in spite of...This isn't how our Creators intended it.
Admit it people the universe is the Lord n ladies "sugar shack"

Posted: 7/8/2005 8:01:38 PM | God does still speak to prophets and to those who let him in.Ever here of kim Clement? He is a known prophet whoes prophesies usually come to pass. There are many others,but if you don't seek them out you never normally here about them because our media only produces the tragic happenings in the world, not the good.
As far as speaking globally; The next time that will occur is when this planet as we know it has seen it's end. However, God is speaking through his displeasure with the decadence of our age with all of the earthquakes, hurricanes, fires, and yes plagues.What do you think aids is? The bottom line is that God does not have to prove anything to us.It is we who have to prove ourselves to God through our obedience and faith.
One last note: God has talked to me in my dreams. I had a dream about 5 years ago and I still see it as if it happened last night where the Lord appeared to me as clear as day and told me to get away from the decadent style of music I was performing at the time and use my skills to perform for him. Ever since, that is what I have strived to do. | |

There are many false teachers out there and this is why you have to balance your own beliefs with what you here and pray that you come up with the right conclusion. That is why I follow my heart and first instincts before I allow anyone elses words pollute my spirit.
I watched a documentary about Jim jones last night and it is utterly amazing how this man could twist the Bible with his words and lead over 800 people to their deaths in a suicide pact. He was an agnostic who claimed HE was God and I cannot believe how many Gullilble people actually believed that. This is why you have to be very careful NOT to let someone elses words pollute your spirit, at least without concrete proof. | |

Why doesn't God just give us a great sign...like the parting of the red sea for example...something that would not be questioned as anything but a sign from God? Why does he remain silent? It makes no sense to me. If you want people to worship you, why would you not make yourself known...besides words in an ancient, perhaps unaccurate book? Worshipping an invisible entity that never talks, or gives any signs of his/her presense seems like a game to me.
God has given us the Holy Ghost, the comforter (John 15:25-27). Christ says it’s the spirit of truth and will bear witness of him.
Also there is the spirit of prophesy. We as believers learn and are comforted by prophesy read 1 Corinthians 14:30-32
God gives no sign to unbelievers. | |

Think about it.......What if you do not speak the language? Or you do not know how to read? Then the Bible won't do you any good. It also says Come to me as a child. Children can not read. Also to point out something else it says is that God is love. Love comes from the heart. If you follow what the love in your heart says then you are doing Gods will. | |

Why would God be angry? He has set into motion his punishment if you might say. It is not he.......We do it all to ourselves by having free will. We can spank our child so that he does not touch the hot stove. Or we can let him touch the stove, and learn from experance for himself that the stove is hot and burns. | |

Yes, I must start with this because it’s a fact, God doesn’t think like us and he is also a spirit. The following is a true account of what took place in the fall of 1984, with my hand on my heart and my soul’s future at stake let it be said with complete accuracy. I had been in the ministry full time for less than a year, left a job with the teamsters union making around $15.00 per hour. I was married for 5 1/2 years and my wife is only 21 a couple days ago. I know I know, she was 16, 3 days when we married, I don’t want to hear it, smile. We are in Russellville Ala in a pastor’s house. He’d asked us to come and preach for him in the Sunday morning service. It was so difficult on us financially that often for breakfast we had to (( split )) a biscuit and gravy at Hardee’s food chain. God had performed many miracles in order for us to go full time just as he has for countless others that had given their life to his will and service, but extreme pressure was mounting going from $600.00 plus to $50.00 a week. I’m not talking the 1950’s here but 1984. It just couldn’t be done with a child still in diapers and you had to buy food and gas for the car. We never knew where we we’re going to stay, this was by faith. My dad had told me verbatim, That I Was a Fool for leaving a good job. The country had been in a recession for years and was just starting to make a come back through President Reagan and then I up and went to preach the gospel, this infuriated my father who was a professional, fire marshal of Tampa fl. I had come to the conclusion that I might have made a huge mistake leaving my job with no promise of our next meal. I went into the bedroom after talking with the pastor whom I had met a few hours earlier. It was 3:30 am Sunday morning. I had not told my wife, but I came to realize that we couldn’t make it like this no more, something had to happen and quick, I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t eat and my nerves we’re shot. I went in the room with my wife in the bed asleep and my son on a pallat on the floor, fell down to my knees and started crying. My fist we’re clinched and I was hitting the floor and (( I told God )) While crying that I couldn’t take it no more, I’m through, I’m going home, I’ll start my life over and most of all I’ll face my father, tell him he was right, I am a fool and irresponsible, having my wife and son out here and not making enough to feed my face let alone my wife and child and him in diapers. I went to bed, laid down and went right to sleep and as soon as I did I heard a loud voice saying (( I Am With You )) Now, I would love to tell you that I said Here am I lord send me but that’s not true. I sat up quickly looked at my wife who was asleep and said, what are you doing hollering at me. She lifted up her head and asked me what I was talking about. Not concentrating on what was being said I looked at my son then around the room and seen nothing, shrugged my shoulders and knew I was more stressed out than I thought and laid down. I started to dose off when a loud voice said slowly, ( I AM WITH YOU)!! Again I sat up and looked at my wife expecting to see her sitting up and talking in her sleep, yes she has been know to talk a lot while sleeping when she is real tried. But there she was sleep like Cinderella and Matthew my son still laying on the floor and not moved. I looked around the room again, sure to see someone but not a person in site. I thought, am I going crazy, wow, then laid back down, closed my eyes and this time I hadn’t fell asleep, when suddenly a (( BREATH )) hit the side of my face and a voice literally rattled my ear. I sat up instantly, I knew I wasn’t asleep, I felt the wind, I heard the voice and My Ear Did Rattle as if someone spoke within inches of my head and he said (( Bruce, I AM WITH YOU )) !! This time however he also called my name. I didn’t look at my wife or son, I knew it was the lord or a messenger and he was speaking for god. It was at this time I remembered the words that was spoken. Writing this I’m moved with tears because I know that god can speak, he’s not dead but ALIVE, he can and will talk to you either by his voice or angel or dream or prophet or word of knowledge or prophesy. He will Speak to you!! No we did not go home the next day, I did not have to tell my father he was right, we did make it, we have touched, healed, restored and lead to god multitudes, no things didn’t change right away but (( the facts )) (( not faith )) we’re that Jehovah Jirah , (( My Lord, My Provider )) was with me and my family and yes little Mattew has a sister, they’re both grown, saved and he is a man of god preaching his word and the god of his father is Speaking To Him like Abraham’s God spoke to Issaac and Issaac’s to Jacob’s. Nor is He worshiped with men's hands as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. And He has made from one blood every nation of men do dwell on the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being." Acts 17: 24-28
God does not force Himself on us, but He loves us and wants us to love Him by choice.
If you seek Him, He WILL speak to you by His Spirit. It's nothing short of a miracle every time He speaks to me...and He always does it at unexpected times.

It seems a little odd to me that people are going by a book that is centuries old (the Bible), which was written by men, many of which claimed to either have God spoken to them, or witnessed miracles so large in proportion that if a person were there, they could not deny the existance of God. So..if this is true..then why is it that God does not speak to man now? What made that generation so special? Odd indeed!!
Nothing made that generation more special... imo God still speaks... but some consider it heresy..
The bible is a channeled work.. just ONE of the MANY books claiming to be divinely inspired ;)
And as Ravenstar has said.. God speaks in myriad ways.. we simply need to listen..

I have read the Bible, the old testament and the New testament more times than I care to state. (I am not super religious by the way... I did not have a lot of choice in the matter... )
Anyway, let's be realistic here...
The Old Testament is nothing more than the embelished history of Jewish people.
The New Testament is nothing more than a group of disillusioned jewish people pissed off at their religion and they tried to change it.
One leader stood out, Jesus and well... The human factor got involved and we turned the whole Jesus rebellion movement into a religion.
At some point, in order to keep control, the Romans incorporated the Christian faith in their culture, hence the expression, Roman Catholic, in order to control the poeple THROUGH their faith which became accessible to all... jews and gentiles...
Now... I also studied the evolution of "faith" with the asian culture... If you do a parallel of the time lines, around the same time as Jesus's days, the bouhdist religion became very very popular in the asian world. Oddly enough, no one in that culture embellished the powers of one of their leaders, but embraced their whole humanity as well as their adavanced wisdom in their path. (Amazing information concerning the bouhdist faith... Oddly enough, no one in that time even were aware of Jesus and this God that speaks to people... )
Anyway... We need to go back to our roots and go back to the ways of worshiping before supposedly "the good book" got published.
I cannot believe that no one accepts the fact that there have been more people killed and tortured, burned because of the Roman Catholic faith... (ex: the cruisades...)
Think about their marketing strategies...
Every Sunday, thousands and thousands of people "willingly" donate to the church. This has been going on for thousands of years. I think this is brilliant.
Give us money you cannot afford to give every week. We will tell you, during confession, that you are a sinner, and not worthy and you have to come back every week to donate and we will make sure to keep you feeling unworthy until you die and only then you have a chance to go to heaven... All the while, we, the priests abuse your sons behind closed doors...
I know too much about my faith and I just cannot believe that those bible thumping people cannot even realize the brainwashing that is going on... All this based on a "religious book" recanting the stories of foreign people and their beliefs!!!
Gently walking out of this thread while rotten tomatoes are being thrown at me.
