I think when history looks back on Michael Jacksons life, his contributions to the world will outweight any of his personal controversy. Outweigh possibly, but the questions about his behavior with young boys will be part of his legacy as will his often freakish behavior and lifestyle. I think he's a sad case. A probably very sensitive personality deformed by his childhood. Still, we all make choices. The right choice would have been to realize and accept that he was troubled and to seek psychological help instead of living out his mental and emotional confusions and perversions.

| breaking news!!....michael jackson haas died! Posted: 6/27/2009 12:32:34 AM | I was reading that some people are comparing him to Jesus? What are those crazy people thinking. No human being is or will be ever close to that status in popularirty and in lives that a person touches. Seriously unlike Jesus where his popularity and the lives he touches continues to grow 2,000 years after his death, guys like Michael Jackson will be a far distant memory in some history archive by then.
Then you got others starting to say that Michael Jackson's death was a sham and he faked it to get out of debt by knowing that his merchandise sales would skyrocket after his death. I guess those are the same crazy thinking people that still think Elvis and 2-Pac are alive too.
People and their crazy thinking......

| breaking news!!....michael Jackson haas died! Posted: 6/27/2009 1:21:25 AM | That's exactly the problem. All a person has to do is accuse somebody.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993_child_molestation_allegations_against_Michael_Jackson
All it took was the accusation for Michael Jackson to suffer at the hands of money-grubbers.
Look at the people who accused him. One is a convicted welfare fraud whose child has a history of making up serious lies. Another is a kid who's deadbeat father can't even be bothered to express any sort of concern for the welfare of his son . He was quite clear that all he wanted was money and nothing else mattered. Jackson has former maids claiming he did such and such even though they didn't work for him at the time they supposedly saw the alleged incidents take place. He has guards who admit in court that they never actually saw anything wrong take place. Some of his accusers owed millions. Many of these people got paid for their stories by the tabloid press even though there was precious little information offered.
To top it off , when he finally did actually go to trial , Jackson was found innocent. Why ? Because there was nothing in the way of evidence other than the accusations of people with very clear (and often expressed) motives. Despite these facts there are people who are convinced that Michael Jackson was a pedophile. No research done , no critical thinking engaged , no reason expressed....just "I heard it enough times so it must be true."
That's all anybody who assumes Michael Jackson was a diddler has : "I heard it enough times that I feel it just has to be true."
Read about the trials and who was involved. Read some of their statements and learn about their histories. These low-lifes all have one thing in common : They wanted Jackson's money and they knew they'd get it because there are enough ignorant people out there who would condemn him based on the accusations alone.

| breaking news!!....michael Jackson haas died! Posted: 6/27/2009 1:46:26 AM | Skooch.... Your saying it yourself.
Ok.What other wealthy musician has a petting zoo, full arcade, roller coasters and sleepovers that only young boys can attend? You and I both know that adult males don't typically invite young boys over for sleepovers.
So... who else would do something like this? We don't know everything.... and can't even know what MJ went through... How hard would it have been to live his childhood? He may have never grown up, maybe this is why he was so brilliant with his music? An older guy having sleep overs with young boys, isn't right, but he may not of seen himself as an older guy. This was like when we were young and pitched tents and had sleep overs with the guys in the backyard....
People think he's a freak, and strange and don't understand him... but this doesn't mean, that him having sleep overs were a sexual nature... maybe bad judgment for someone trying to live his childhood.
If michael did what two young boys would do... maybe tickling, wrestling, horse play... It would be normal to see two boys do that... BUT not so with an adult... so people are going to say he did inappropriate things... which to him, may have seemed normal. But it isn't sexual or molesting... Just abnormal.
I don't know?... But if I really believe my son was molested by someone... He wouldn't have been able to buy me off, there would have been no settlements.

Posted: 6/27/2009 5:47:37 AM | I think when history looks back on Michael Jacksons life, his contributions to the world will outweigh any of his personal life controversy Michael Jackson broke barriers! Michael Jackson was the first afro-American to appear on MTV. This broke the barrier for other afro-American artists. I guess this didn't outweigh anything, huh?
I don't know?... But if I really believe my son was molested by someone... He wouldn't have been able to buy me off, there would have been no settlements Exactly! Blame the parents - they took the blood money. If these allegations were true fighting for my children was worth more than blood money - they sold their kids. They say MJ is wacked? We'll hear more about it when they cannot collect. Ed Kennedy killed someone. Michael Skokle (sp?)killed someone. They got off scott-free!

That has nothing to do with inregards to his own personal life in which my statement was implying, that’s going to heavily factor in what conclusion history will judge his personal life on.

Michael Jackson confesses: I sleep with boys In TV interview, singer obsessed with children says it's not sexual Posted: February 04, 2003 1:00 am Eastern

Pop superstar Michael Jackson admitted last night in a television documentary that he loves to have young boys sleep in his bed.
What's more, everyone should do it, says the 44-year-old Jackson, who was accused of sexually molesting a 13-year-old boy a decade ago, and who admits recently encouraging a 12-year-old cancer sufferer to sleep in his bedroom...

| breaking news!!....michael jackson haas died! Posted: 6/27/2009 7:41:32 AM | I just read the article. And............... MJ himself says it is not sexual. All you people see is the title to the story and your mind is already made up. You pick sentences and read into it something that is not there. Like the quote below. You will read and conclude that he encouraged the kid to sleep WITH him and that he molested the child.
What's more, everyone should do it, says the 44-year-old Jackson, who was accused of sexually molesting a 13-year-old boy a decade ago, and who admits recently encouraging a 12-year-old cancer sufferer to sleep in his bedroom... The reporter was very slick to include the words "accused of sexually molesting a 13-year-old boy" in that sentence.
The 12-year-old cancer patient, named Gavin, said he met Jackson two years ago, and began sleeping overnight at the superstar's Neverland ranch with his brother and sister. On one occasion, reports the Times, Gavin asked to sleep in Jackson's bedroom: "I was like, 'Michael, you can sleep in the bed,' and he was like 'no, no, you sleep on the bed,' and I was like 'no, no, no, you sleep on the bed' and then he said 'look if you love me you'll sleep in the bed.' I was like, 'Oh man.' So I finally slept on the bed. But it was fun that night." The kid ASKED to sleep in the room. MJ just told the kid it was ok and the kid should sleep in the bed. Seems to me MJ did not sleep in the bed with the kid.

| breaking news!!....michael jackson haas died! Posted: 6/27/2009 9:03:45 AM | | Now there are reports that Debbie Rowe, Michael and Paris' mom, wants custody. Apparently, under California law, she never completely gave up her rights and is legally able to fight for them. I think that is pathetic. Her kids are 11 and 12 years old, and she has never seen them a day in their lives and all of a sudden wants them. She won't get it, no judge in his right mind is going to permanatly hand over 2 children to someone who is a perfect stranger to them. I have no respect for this woman, she abandoned her children. I look at my son, and I couldn't picture leaving his side. The instant he was born and they laid him on my chest I fell in love with him and nothing could ever change that. I don't know what kind of mom can look at her babies the day they are born and then make the decision to walk away, but whatever kind of mother she is, she's certainly not a good one, that's for sure. | |

| breaking news!!....michael jackson haas died! Posted: 6/27/2009 9:44:15 AM | ^^^^^Ya ... you can say that again.
People keep saying he is not guilty of such things ... but if he wasn't, why did he pay off people to keep quiet? Like back in (or around) 1984 and that 23 million dollar settlement?
Who the hell pays someone that much money if they are innocent?

Really? That is not what I am reading. I have looked at several sites and read the articles. She has seen her kids, but, not very much. She has not really spent time much with them. Please do not spout rumors. Do some research before posting such nonsense.

Like I stated before. I am not trying to bash you. I can find no evidence of your claim. Can you remember the statement? I went to this site... http://www.americanhumanist.org/ and other humanist sites and found nothing.
The reason I stated you heard this 25 yrs ago is that is when MJ purchased the rights to the Beatles and other artists music. I would assume that the statement you heard was within that time frame.
Yes, it is my opinion that it is just a rumor. You claim that John Lennon wrote the song for the Humanists, I can not find that anywhere either.
If there is a statement that was from Michael and was read to you then find it please. I am very open minded and that is why I asked you for more information. I like to see the facts. Please led me to them.

I could really go for some overly-enthusiastic speculation about regime change in Iran right about now.....

And I'm going to make a wild guess here, but you're musical talent is pretty much non-existent when compared to a genius like Michael Jackson.
If he was a genius, I'm Einstein.
I did not like his music, but to each his/her own. However, regardless of how good it allegedly was, that does not excuse child molestation. And, spare me the "he wasn't convicted" BS - OJ wasn't convicted either and he's been tarred and feathered ever since his trial.

That still doesn't mean that I'm going to leave my kids alone with you anymore than I would Michael Jackson.

The reporter was very slick to include the words "accused of sexually molesting a 13-year-old boy" in that sentence. Okay. What's more, everyone should do it, says the 44 year-old Jackson, who admits recently encouraging a young 12 year old cancer sufferer to sleep in his bed. That's better. Once I omitted that one damning fact, it made MJ seem a whole lot more innocent.
The two most ridiculous arguments I'm hearing in here are: Michael had a terrible upbringing; and Michael just wanted the boys to sleep in his bed. Nothing sexual.
A lot of people had worse childhoods than MJ who don't turn out wacko. Many of criminals had it worse than MJ. I don't see anyone's heart bleeding for the drug trafficker who was raised by a crack head without a father or much money. "You were selling drugs to kids," people say. That's better than sucking little boys off if you ask me.
"There's nothing sexual invovled when MJ sleeps with little boys." Am I the weird one who doesn't sleep with little boys? Is this normal outside of my household? If you don't find something extremely screwed up about a guy who has slept with a lot of boys, then you are drunk on the Jesus Juice this week. He wasn't your hero last week, and he won't be your hero next month. The Jesus Juice is going to wear off soon enough.

A lot of people had worse childhoods than MJ who don't turn out wacko.
carlos santana comes to mind. if anyone could blame bad adult behavior on childhood abuse, this man could.
in an interview with cbs, santana recalls childhood molestation that lasted 2 years and a life without electricity or running water.
most of us can only imagine the kind of poverty, filth and atrocity that comprised santana's early life. yet, miraculously, he never became a child molester.
