You know .. if anyone else were so slandered, falsely accused, had their character assassinated .. - Someone would be sued! I wish the Family Lawyers would take that task on. Then when they Win-which they will, donate all of the money from those law suits to those charitable organizations that Michael supported.
INNOCENT until and unless proven guilty.

I wish, for just one minute - Some of you could be in those shoes - accused of something you would Never do.

He was a Great Man. He was a Humanitarian. He was incredibly talented. He was and IS well loved.

I wish I could remember the CNN quote (from a viewer email) that said - for the hundreds who would slander Michael Jackson - there are Millions of US who Love him.

btw - I NEVER for a minute thought that he was guilty of what he was charged with. I saw it as a very nasty .. very greedy ploy by a Few who saw an opportunity and were just cold hearted enough to persue it.

There are countless children who have benefitted from Michael Jackson walking this earth - how many have benefitted from your existence?

I never met the man personally - but I still grieve his loss. My heart to his children, his brothers and sisters, his mother and father, his family .. his friends and to those of us who Love him.

I'd like to share my 2 cents. This is my opinion. It seems that,in our society, the more success a person acheives, the more they are brought down by slander and unfounded rumors. Being a society that seems to thrive on scandle, too many people jump on the bandwagon as if it were a witch hunt.

I don't believe Mr.Jackson ever did any of the things he was accused of.I think that, having never had a normal childhood,he did evolve into a Peter Pan kind of personality.I think he just loved children,in general, and got tremedous pleasure in thier laughter and joy. There's nothing perverted about that at all.

Watching his little girl,Paris, yesterday, spoke volumes of the man he really was. So,let his memory rest in peace.Try and see the beauty in his life in stead of trashing it with degrading rumors.

THIS IS A WARNING TO ANYONE WHO CAN’T STAND IT IF SOMEONE SAYS ANYTHING EXCEPT SOMETHING WONDERFUL ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON. Skip this entry and move on to one that will reinforce your own views.

I just read a report on the interview Michael Jackson had with TV Guide in November 2001. He showed up with his nose swathed in gray bandages. “It’s analgesic tape,” he said. “For allergies.” Yeah, right. If wrapping noses were a good way to alleviate allergy symptoms, everyone that suffers with allergies would be wearing them. My point? Just that some of the things MJ would toss off as “the truth,” were anything but. Michael Jackson had many admirable qualities, but as someone mentioned in a previous post, “He’s only human.” That would mean that he’s susceptible to the same ordinary human weaknesses we all are. Like how so many people have a tendency to use deception to make themselves look good at all costs, especially if they’ve gotten away with it for a long time. (Or in Michael case, if people worship him so much that his honesty isn’t even questioned.)

Oops! More less than flattering things about MJ. If you can't handle it, move on and have a nice day.

There are countless children who have benefitted from Michael Jackson walking this earth - how many have benefitted from your existence? - A.S.is

Well, one way the world has benefitted from my existence is that I'm not a liar. Sorry fans, liars are liars and I don't respect them.

MJ is INNOCENT until and unless proven guilty. - A.S.is

Let's face the facts. Michael Jackson wasn't proven innocent or guilty. He paid his accusers off before it could go that far. Acquitted doesn't mean innocent, ya-all! That's like when people are given the option to plead "No Contest." It means that you're not saying you did something and you're not saying that you didn't either.

Christ on a cracker! As if lying about tape on his face somehow compromised a national secret! - WindRoper

No, but it proves that he's capable of lying doesn't it? Yes, everyone has lied at one time or another in their life. That's considerably different than being a habitual liar. If you want to gaze at him with rose colored glasses on, go ahead! I don't.

^^^ Christ on a cracker! As if lying about tape on his face somehow compromised a national secret!

Everyone lies at some point in their life. Everyone! I can't prove it but I am certain you are no exception. And I fail to see how anyone would "benefit" from you not lying (IF it was even possible or true). I can see how they would possibly NOT be shafted due to you not telling a lie you might have otherwise told (conning v. not conning).

Please stop grasping at straws. You don't approve of/like Michael Jackson. It's not a sin... even tho some would act as if you blasphemed.... and, yeah, I think they're being foolish too.

This is exactly the hypocritical rationale I find so infuriating about this. Gary Glitter was a washed up rock star who was was arrested and charged with molesting two under-aged girls, aged 10 and 11, at his home in Vietnam. He was was sentenced to three years' imprisonment. (Glitter could have faced execution by firing squad if convicted of child rape.) Nobody (that I know of) stood out in the rain crying for him. Part of the reason is because he came clean about what he’d done. He admitted it and did his time. If he had tried to pretend he didn’t do it here in the United States with the amount of evidence stacked against him, the press and the public would have had his head on a platter. NOT MICHAEL THOUGH! The fact that he had to pay his accusers in order to get off with a lighter acquittal charge, only to get busted again for exactly the same thing a few years later (when he admitted to sleeping with boys) only proves that he’s innocent to his fans. WHAT?!

OMG .. This thread is Supposed to be for those of us who wish to say "Good-bye to MichaelJackson" . IMO - if you want to start a thread rehashing the Old Debate on whether or not he was guilty - you should start That thread.

Continuously bringing it back to your personal views on whether or not he did what a couple people accused him off is Off Topic and totally disrespectful to those of us who do miss him, Love him and Respect his Children and Family.

that said - In this country And in the USA - a Person is INNOCENT until and unless Proven Guilty.

Some people will believe whatever the latest media hype puts to them. I sincerely hope you are never falsely accused - especially of something as horrendous as child molesting.

Michael Jackson is, was and will always be a Hero to his children, his family, his friends and his Millions of fans. The hundreds who feel otherwise pale in our shadow.

Have a lovely day .. I'm off to play "We are the World" and "Heal the World" .. and "The Man in The Mirror" ..

He gave us all so much.

The fact that he had to pay his accusers in order to get off with a lighter acquittal charge

There is no such "fact" and there is no such animal as "a lighter acquittal charge."

only to get busted again for exactly the same thing a few years later (when he admitted to sleeping with boys)

I could be mistaken but I believe I recall that the first allegations were in a civil law suit, not in the form of criminal charges. And the more recent trial was not a result of him saying he saw nothing wrong with allowing a child to sleep in his bed.

only proves that he’s innocent to his fans. WHAT?!

I wouldn't call myself a fan. I grew up listening to the Jacksons, liked some of Michael's solo efforts, and thought him to appear more and more odd as the years passed. Other than that, I really have no opinion of the man one way or the other. However, when parents of children who allegedly have been molested and who supposedly care about the safety of other children, accept payoffs it does make their claims much less credible. Shadow of doubt = not guilty in the US. This isn't Vietnam.

I’m not a lawyer and I probably don’t have the legal mumbo-jumbo right, but when MJ’s lawyers advised him to pay the exorbitant sum he ponyed up to get an acquittal instead of following through with the case and risking a possible guilty verdict, I’m sure it felt a whole heck of a lot “lighter.” I have to admit, I'm a little unclear what the distinctions are between a trial and criminal court or whether it isn't important unless it's a "civil law suit." All I know is allegations were made and Michael reponded to them by saying, "Yeah, I sleep with boys, get over it!" Look, if the people had just paid their respects to MJ for his music and his legitmate charity work without padding it with what an angel he was, I would have left it alone. However, its mind boggling just how star struck so many of them are regardless of his actual history. Give him credit where credit is due, but don’t paint him as some kind of savior. Michael Jackson was a great musician, but he ain’t Gandhi.

Balboa you know the parent's of the child set him up, on both occasions? - mark the crepe

No, I don't know that. The whole thing was pretty disgusting, but I'm not going to let MJ off the hook because the parents were greedy pigs. It's clear MJ had lost touch with reality and it's highly probable he was involved with activities that our society (well, any civilized society for that matter) considers unacceptable and unlawful. How can anyone have opinions of the children's parents yet have no opinion of the alleged molester? It goes to show what a pedestal we've put MJ on.

Balboa you know the parent's of the child set him up, on both occasions? You can tell Mike is just a big kid, yes it's strange he had a big love for children, but he wouldn't hurt, you can just read a person sometimes. His whole life, he was beaten down, but he still wasn't afraid to give his love to anyone, and people took advantage of that.

Balboa you claim I don't want people to see the facts of the case, but I provided a link where people could get the facts.

You say he paid off ''accusers'' yet he only paid one child's father. As they have stated on the news, that is not an admission of guilt. When he was initially accused, the police went in. It was a criminal case, and not a shred of evidence was found, so they dropped the case. The father pursued a civil case instead. The child refused to testify and Michael paid the family to make the situation go away so as not to go through a trial and deal with that mess. He was still quite in the spotlight at the time and going strong. The second case was nothing but a mom seeking cash. And if you read any facts on the trial, it all pointed to that, and that is what the jury believed.

As for plastic surgery, most people lie about having it. Now it's more popular in Hollywood and people will admit to it...but a lot of stars still do not. If anyone thinks Michael hasn't had any, well they're just nuts. But that is his right to change his appearance as many people these days do. If I had money I have some work I'd like to have done myself.

So whatever plastic surgery has to do with child molestation charges is beyond me. Two different subjects.

By the way a Debbie Rowe interview was aired again and she said it was her who started the whole hiding the kids thing, keeping them out of the spotlight. She was afraid someone would come after the kids. I think that has a lot to do with why the burial plans are so secretive. I honestly think they should cremate him. Any place they bury him will have to be guarded because some nuts are going to desecrate the grave...and I wouldn't put it past anyone not to try digging him up. Too many crazies out there looking to get their name out there and be famous for just about anything.

Debbie also said there was no way in hell Michael was a pedophile. A sentiment echoed by so many of his close personal friends, and even by former kids who stayed with him at Neverland. Again it's amazing that those who didn't know him personally can disregard the sentiments of those who did know him, and stay with him at his home.

"Yeah, I sleep with boys, get over it!"
I see manipulation and twisting what MJ actually stated here.

Yeah you been on the bandwagon and started this BS in this thread, nice try!

Only word which I agree with you.... oh one more statement
because the parents were greedy pigs.

It goes to show what a pedestal we've put MJ on.
No he did that all on his own world wide! Set the stage for others to follow. Which I doubt anyone will ever fill his shoes (glove), there will never be one like MJ again.

In closing, I would say that Michael Jackson probably didn't think he was hurting any children. (More specifically, young boys.) I think he thought he was making them feel reaaaal good. (What with his "Jesus Juice" and all.) Best wishes to all of us surviviors! I think I've said enough for now.

By the way, to those of you who wish it would go down in the history books that Michael Jackson was a "A Legend" and ought to be recognised in the halls of Congress, this will continue to go on and on and on.... Hope you can deal with it.

In the future, if you don't agree with me and see my picture, DON'T READ WHAT I HAVE TO SAY. That's the great thing about America.

I first rediscovered Michael Jackson in 2003 when he was documented by Martin Bashir, since then I have studied his music and character. He is a musical prophet of love. Don't listen to tabloid junk, it's negative trash talk. Listen to his words. He is savior, he is Gandhi

Balboa you seems soooooooo obsessed at Michael Jackson's dirt.
What's up with that man?
The difference with you and the media --because thats their job..they dig dirts they earn money for a living-big bucks, man, big bucks.
You -nothing..publicized free and majorities of contributors here WONT believe what you says..so youre wasting your time.
If MJ had these surgeries and ruined his life and face..so what?
If he lied..so what?
He chose his life to be private may it be his gender, his kids where the hell they came from, his marriages, etc.
He chose to be a man of mystery so why youre so hungry to know behind those mysteries.
Youre addicted to hollywood rumours, hunger for gossips about MJ.
I think youre a MJ junkie...or possibly gay?

Did you just compare him to Gandhi.

Wow, you people are retarded.

How was Michael Jackson the child molester a Saviour.

Gandhi literally was a Saviour to India. He stop other nations from taking over his country without ever even picking up a gun. He was a key part in India's independence. India might not even be around today if it wasn't for him.

Basically Gandhi did on his own what Nazi Germany couldn't. Beat the British.

The two are totally incomparable.

Maybe read a history book before you make a ridiculous statement like that.

I would recommend the cliff notes for you though because you are obviously an idiot.

Did you just compare him to Gandhi. - CRG32

And a savior too! Crazy, isn't it. This day and age must be desperately looking for a hero. What we get is a past his prime, yet still living beyond his means musician who killed himself preparing for the come back he hoped would repair his damaged reputation. Some hero!

Hey, girlintheforum and everyone else who thinks that I shouldn’t post my comments in this forum,

Remember…

If someone is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read my threads, you’re hanging out with the wrong crowd, kiddo. If you read it with your own free will, bear in mind that there are people in this world who don’t care what the “cool” kids are saying. If you’re going to have a mind of your own, you’re really going to have to do better than spit your lame innuendos at people with different opinions than you. Cuz guess what! It doesn’t matter how impressed you are with Big Bucksman Michael Jackson, I STILL HAVE AS MUCH RIGHT TO SPEAK MY MIND AS YOU DO!

Ever hear the phrase, “When everyone thinks alike, no one thinks?”

Fear not, MJ fans. I'm outta here.

This was posted in the other Jackson thread but seeing as it's on the verge of being deleted I thought I'd bring it over here.....

but anyway as an icon he was hugely significant,i mean just look at the worldwide reaction to his death and also his record breaking music sales

You know...a lot of people who are passionate about music look at popularity and frown upon it....popularity means nothing....who cares if millions of people who don't know anything about music love you...popularity does nothing but inflate the ego....

I still think we should remember someone for their virtues....and there were a lot of positive aspects to his life....why perpetuate negativity?

Here's an interesting point....do you think this crazy reaction to his death was brought about partially because of all the drama in his life that the masses lived vicariously through? As if to say...thank you Micheal for giving us this drama that we crave so much?
