Any older guy who CAN date younger, WILL. Period.
I don't care what they say here.
If the guy is in good shape and can attract younger women, more than likely that's what he will do.
I date younger because I can.
I find younger women more attractive.
It has nothing to do with control or any of the myriad other things that older women/younger guys say.
In fact, the cute younger woman is probably much harder to control. She has a million choices, guys asking for her number all day long, day in and day out...
Isn't it possible that an older man and a younger woman could actually fall in love? And if so, then why is it anyone's business?
Who on this site would not like to find a passionate relationship?
Everybody is looking for that one person who really knocks them out, and it's hard to find.
If two people are madly in love, then why criticize?

with the age difference of 30 yrs you speak of, it's usually a tradeoff....money for looks....or sometimes the younger person will perceive the older one to be somehow exciting, but that generally wears off over time. in either case, most of the december-may relationships fizzle al0ng the line somewhere. i think anything more than about 10 years either side of one's age never really seems to work. personally, i'm more apt to go for about 8 yrs younger to 3 yrs older. after you've lived it, the 8 yrs younger seems like yesterday, but before you've lived it, more than 3 yrs older can seem ancient. | |

Sorry, it can't be. Accepting such a simple, logical, sensible, obvious explanation would imply acknowledging that older women are less attractive or desirable than younger women. And we simply can't have that. Therefore, we must search from some harebrained, twisted explanation in order to protect their fragile female egos.
chuckling at that! so true. no one wants to admit they've lost value, so they devalue other people's lifestyles. on the other hand, the older guy isn't too hot looking either. it's about money (or *some* asset) for the younger person & looks for the older person. i'll add, a lot of the younger guys are pretty honest about it. the older guys are often much more testy about it. they really don't want to admit to themselves they're not so hot physically any more than does the the older woman. give me the money, honey...cha ching! lol | |

They are more open minded towards new experiences and dont care much about risk. When you give them a gift they never had before ,you can experience the exitement in their eyesand the joy they display -even if the gift is as simple as a single rose!! Meaning they are much easier to impress- so I guess it is an ego thing for many men. younger women also are more Touchy Feely- and that is perfect for men -since we prefer to communicate our affection physicaly and tend to think that women do too! (take a note ladies: if the man is not touching you- he is not interested!!!) Overall I think we all want to feel younger and being around younger people invigrates us and we can feed on their energy.
Many younger women want a father figure and feel more secure with an older man.

what i have found..(the common thread) is that both sexes have usually come out of a l.t. relationship, they want to just date around..they are taking a break from a serious monogamous thingy....and yes, its an ego thing for both sexes but this will soon pass..give it 6-12 months..and they get it out of their system and realize they dont have much in common with a 15-20 year diff. in ages. | |

Is it purely sexual ? I see it more and more on dating sites, Men in their late 40's saying they are only seeking 25 and younger. I know there is a core need for men to reproduce, spreading their seed sorta thing. Seriously other then that, why do men do this? Is it an ego thang.
