Posted: 6/29/2009 4:49:29 PM | consider yourself lucky.... lately, it's hard to meet single people on the streets or anywhere in public (unless there's a smoe filled room and plenty of alcohol), which is why most of us are on here... right? i never get approached by guys... ever... whether it's friendly flirting or not... i would take what she said as a compliment. now how you should deal with it is to call her bluff... the next time you go in, ask her for her number, and see how she plays it! the bark might be worse than the bite! | |

No, it would be playing games if she were flirting with a guy she had absolutely no interest in, as you suggested. Apparently this is a favorite pasttime of yours and I'm telling you, that pisses guys off. How are we supposed to figure out the appropriate response if you admit to LYING just to f*ck with us? She got up the nerve to be that direct, you flubbed it up, now it's your turn to go in and order a footlong, and ask for her number. If I had been that bold, I would not have been playing around. She probably was working up her nerve the whole time your sub was being fixed...get your butt back there and at least fix her wounded self-esteem. Go tell her that she can be on top, bottom, sideways or from behind, as long as she's there.
It doesn't matter if you hook up 0r not, give the girl an ego boost!

Three responses:
If a man said something like this to a female customer, there would be a bunch of femalists coming out of the woodwork saying the female customer should sue the restaurant and man for making unwanted sexual advances and creating a hostile environment. I see no reason why females should get a free pass in this minefield.
I agree with the others on here that if she is kidding around, that is childish game playing. These forums are filled with threads from females whining about how men play games.
Take the bait! If this were me, I would be going back to the restaurant on a regular basis until I saw her again. If she is serious, go for it. If it turns out she is kidding, you can always send a comment card to the manager complaining about her conduct. Revenge! Ha Ha Ha Ha | |
