Well it sounds like you both need to start experimenting and trying to build up his tolerance.
I suggest you go on top and have him stay still while you do all the moving... but have him tell you to stop if he feels himself climaxing. Then stop and don't move until you feel him go a little soft and start up again.
It takes practice to build up control.

1- Communicate with him because a lot of guys can do things to prolong it as much as possible like slow down when they feel the build up getting intense.. etc. You can easily communicate this without hurting his feelings or making things uncomfortable AT ALL. You can say things like "I love having really really long sex!" or make a naughtly suggestion while smiling like "your so good I wish we could go for hours tonight" or mention how you like it when every once in a while a guy prolongs it so he can take time to please you too. Guys have a big desire to please women in the sac and will take any hint or bit of advice seriously because it makes them feel more like men when they please a girl (hence why guys like girls that are loud in bed~!).
2- You can have sex more often so he gets almost like a "sex tolerance" and desensitizes a little bit... The more often you have it, the longer he'll last, ESPECIALLY if it's within the same day. He will take it as a compliment and no guys gonna turn down an offer for more sex so this should be easy to do and benefit you both~
3- You can drink alcohol before hand... As you probably know, alcohol makes guys last longer so the more alcohol, the longer.
