| How well will the Philadelphia EAGLES do in 2009? Posted: 7/9/2009 8:41:29 PM | | dont be too suprised. crabtree may be the most nfl ready but heyward bey has the biggest upside. al davis is all about speed which is why i think they may try to get vick after they admit the jamarcus russell project was a failure. | |

| How well will the Philadelphia EAGLES do in 2009? Posted: 7/9/2009 8:49:06 PM | It was a good draft for wide receivers. I'm a Charger's fan so I love Al Davis. With draft picks like Heyward Bey, The Chargers should continue to dominate this rivalry for years to come!
The Cowboys are so talented it's unreal but we'll see which Romo plays this year because TO is gone and there are no excuses.

however, if he refines himself, yea he could be great.
I think crabtree and nicks will do best, both are really ready for the NFL level

Posted: 7/9/2009 10:43:25 PM | | Thanks JAC. that was nice of you to say.As any knowledgeable fan knows the team with the better defence and running game wins super bowls.Reid called for 55 pass plat against the Pats. You can't win throwing all those passes.

| How well will the Philadelphia EAGLES do in 2009? Posted: 7/10/2009 12:16:33 PM | al davis looks at heyward bey and sees a possible randy moss. other look at him and see Tim Carter.
i like crabtree i think hes gonna do some good things in san fran and will give ariona a run at the division. san fran has got weapons but people (even there fans dont like them) gore vernon davis isaac bruce crabtree and shaun hill to get tem the ball with wiley and clements the anchors on defense they are a suprise waiting to happen.
hakeem nicks might not play much at all his rookie year. me being a giants fan has been reading the reports and manningham and sinorice moss are turning alot of heads and with steve smith a lock at starter its going to be tough.
percy harvin i dont see him as being a huge factor his rookie year. but i do see robiskie playing #2 WO for the browns and playing well and i kenny britt will most likely be in the starting lineup
i do want to thank the eagles for letting us trade up so we can get ramses barden. it was only a third round pick and we have possibly the most physicaly gifted reciever in the draft. good enough speed big and strong just raw. but we didnt waste the number 7 pick on him. not this year but 2nd and 3rd year he could be a redzone td catching machine.

Posted: 7/10/2009 3:55:11 PM | | ^^^You sound like all the fans from last year who put their feet in their mouths when they were watching McNabb in the Championship game. I guess next you'll want to get rid of Reid. "Yeah that's the ticket, get rid of some of the best things we have going for us."

I see the eagles going 8 and 8 3rd in the division

Posted: 9/23/2009 2:38:11 AM | | I can tell you that the Linc was a rather hostile place Sunday, by the 4th quarter, for someone wearing a Saints #12 Colston jersey! I was threatened several times and the profanity was near infinite! Damn, I loved every second of that shit with a big smile on my face!

Very true....It seems every year McNabb misses a game or two due to injury. I have a feeling we might see a QB controversy this season....

| How well will the Philadelphia EAGLES do in 2009? Posted: 9/25/2009 5:56:35 AM | awwww come on yeswho, just think Vic wins a game for the beagles
Vick, who on Sunday will play in a regular-season NFL game for the first time since the final day of the 2006 calendar year.

| How well will the Philadelphia EAGLES do in 2009? Posted: 9/25/2009 7:48:49 AM | yeswho, you know the deal, Vick will be on the field for about 15 plays or so, in various wildcat formations. I had to laugh at the young (early twenties) kid that was flashing me the bird at the Linc last Sunday as he was leaving the stadium because I was wearing the Saints jersey. This clown had an Eagles Vick jersey on, so I told him to go home and kick his dog! | |

Posted: 10/18/2009 5:50:51 PM | | the e-Girls fall to the Faiders!!!.....a welcomed outcome.......i think its because Oakl just realized that they were wearing their pirate patch over the "good" eye since the season started!.................they got that clue when they couldn't see any muff, when they looked up the eGirls dresses after a tackle!

| How well will the Philadelphia EAGLES do in 2009? Posted: 10/21/2009 4:13:51 PM | Not too well apparently. I'm not surprised. Look at the huge distraction Vick has been. That's a lot of attention for a third string QB to garner. As far as the media was concerned coming into this season, they only cared about Vick, and how he was going to contribute. No one was asking the players how they felt about the EAGLES...Everything revolved around one player. It was as if there wasn't going to be a team...only Vick.
Then they let go of a great team leader like Dawkins. I said it earlier, you can't put a price on motivators and play makers. You gotta have team leaders like Dawkins.
