| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/20/2009 1:03:10 PM | ^^^^^^^^^^ mate, the saints wont have a problem with their game plan on a bigger ground! its the accuracy of their kicks+ handpasses that allows us to use heaps of space to switch play untill the best option into attack presents itself!! a bigger ground like the mcg is perfect for us+ if the weather is fine, watch out opposition, we could kick a cricket score! looking forward to playing the doggies this week, should be another ripper game+ cant wait to see cats vs hawks either, should be plenty of feeling in that one!!! roll on the saints juggernaut!!!!!!!!! | |

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/24/2009 3:33:29 PM | | The saints remind me of a song of which a line of is "oh yes i'm a great pretender".They will get exposed soon however i would prefer it to be in the finals.I see the great Carringbush exposed the bluebaggers as pretenders as well. | |

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/25/2009 1:00:12 AM | Go Suck on that Hawthorn....ahead by 28 and still managed to lose.....goes to show last year was the fluke that all the punters said it was !!!....
St Kilda....still just pretending...
Comeon the Catters..its a smooth run home boys and you dont have to prove anything except for the last Saturday in September !!!

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/25/2009 4:56:58 PM | Eagles Supporter.....wash your mouth out Crikey......
Still after yesterdays effort...guess they need all the support they can get !!!!
Dockers/Shockers fans....mmmm nice of your team to turn up and play a game (unlike against Adelaide) must have been a real thrilll for you winning...been a while...did you remember the words to your teams theme song when it was played ????
Dont worry Rob...the Saints will roll Hawthorn, you are playing so well theres no doubt there..but as a Cats supporter I know that it comes down to that one game in September..its the only one that counts so going thru the season undefeated its not necessarily a good thing. - we learned our lesson.............and we the Catters will be seeing you there

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/26/2009 5:45:32 PM | | I think I saw the worst game of AFL ever on Saturday, Dockers V's Eagles. Everything about the game was crap, apart from the fact it was a close match. The umpiring was woeful & I've never known such bad camera work, Maybe because no one had any idea where the ball was or was going. | |
|
| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/27/2009 8:10:12 AM | I guess the Eagles/arrogance thing comes from listening to too much Saturday morning talkback radio and hearing whoever from whatever suburb begin by saying,"Yeah,Gday guys,Im an Eagles supporter, but Im calling to say whats wrong with the Dockers"....and these people seriously dont understand why we hate them???? lol
Aside from the result, the Derby was a shocker! But Mark Harvey has the right idea, play the kids. We play the Western Bulldogs this weekend and will probably get the same flogging we gave the Bulldogs a few years ago when they were playing their kids.
Thats life, you cant win all the time. Footy itself is pretty great though I reckon,St Kilda,Geelong and the Bulldogs are fantastic teams to watch play....hopefully the Bulldogs have a big Friday night on the town this week though! lol

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/27/2009 10:25:59 AM | | Who really cares !!! - I myself have more entertaining things to do - like working as many shifts as I can to pay off my mortgage and support my teenager and pay the bills and have enough money left over to feed us - even if I had the money available I wouldn't squander it on a supid game of Football to watch a bunch of 'men' run around and get paid heaps of money to do basically F*** All.................. | |

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/27/2009 1:09:37 PM | too right mike, that was a bit harsh miss fee! to some of us, footy is not a sport, its a religion! to watch the mighty saints tear apart the doggies last weekend bordered on a divine experience!! lol luvulongtime, south is now the sydney swans+ watching them play is like watching old people make love! at first, there is a weird impulse to watch but in the end u have to turn away!!! jump on the st kilda bandwagon miss fee+ ur joy will have no limits!!!! go saints!!!!! | |

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/27/2009 5:13:45 PM | Go Suck on that Hawthorn....ahead by 28 and still managed to lose wow, so gracious in victory... Hawthorne choked, they missed so many shots for goal in the last quarter.
Geelong is still the favourite for mine. They were without their best forward against the Saints and still only lost by a goal after giving the Saints a good head start. Geelong didn't give the Saints a head start, the Saints were just too good & they left Geelong languishing. They (Geelong) might not have had Steve Johnson but they certainly had the best of the umpiring.
but Im sure if the game went on another 5 minutes..the result would have been different, you were crumbling and we were on a roll !!! yeah, the Saints would have been further in front. Geelong was spent, they threw everything at the Saints & still came up short.
Your guys have got to stop relying on Riewoldt all time
we were down 3 of our best players as well who's relying on who.
Geelong are a good team this year, not as good as they were last year, they are on the decline, they have struggled to win a number of their games this year. I think they will struggle to make the grand final. There are a couple of teams on the up; Adelaide & Brisbane, Geelong play Adelaide at Skilled Stadiun this w/end the home advantage might be just enough to get the Cats over the line.
Geelong are brittle, the injury list after the Saints game proved that & they have no depth, they have struggled without Johnson.
Saints with be in the grand final against either the Crows, Lions or Dogs.
R.I.P. Geelong | |

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/27/2009 6:10:30 PM | Some interesting games this week
Geelong vs Adelaide - big game for both - The Age today detailing the weakening of Geelong over the last four weeks; and Adelaide will want to show they are a flag contender after their poor display against the Saints
Port Adelaide vs Hawthorn - last chance for both of them this week. The loser is out of finals contention especially if Carlton and Essendon win (and they both should as they are playing the Perth teams)
Collingwood vs Brisbane - fascinating game this. I think Brisbane will be too strong for the Pies and jump into the top four. And I still think if Buckley wants to be good for Collingwood; go somewhere else and coach for a while – take the North Melbourne job. Get some experience
The Saints travel to Sydney; I can't see the Swans kicking enough goals to beat us - Kosi will be back. I would like to see Ball back (maybe for Eddy or Dempster); a great player and bloody tough at the ball.

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/28/2009 6:06:31 AM | that was very mean mouthed..........
if you're p....d off at the world maybe you should slag off somewhere else. or get a football team to follow and lighten up a bit...........
but then, i don't really care..............

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/28/2009 7:14:45 AM | Go Eric!
Although I think Eric plays a St Kilda Supporter in his new film so it ties in with the movie as well.
But still nice to see Eric Bana spreading the Saints across the world.

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/28/2009 4:42:48 PM | I doubt that the Saints will win the flag. If anything, going undefeated through the year puts more pressure on them to perform in the finals. I tip that they won't even make the Grand Final, the pressure will overwhelm them and they will choke in the Preliminary Final. My gut tells me this year will be a Geelong vs Collingwood GF with the winner being Geelong >>> UNFORTUNATELY! (sorry cats fans) | |

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 7/29/2009 3:45:56 AM | Welcome back Avo...good to see you around again ^^^^...and I couldnt agree with you more...sadly Geelong have not been playing as well this year..again like every team, injuries are starting to kick in and I think we all so have to take into account that I no longer living opposite the Cattery in Geelong, attending EVERY game, and every training day and also a member of the Cheer Squad.....my decision to move West has cost them dearly... and basically I think the boys are missing my presence..I held Geelong together and now here I am stuck over in Docker/Shocker/Tosser land...yes I am responsible for Geelongs slow decline this year!!!
Im with Robfish..I dont think the Saints will make it to the GF....not that they dont deserve to..but just because you have been the "best" team all year - undefeated..doesnt mean you deserve to contest the flag. ..I always think prelim footy is where it is all decided ..and Im also of the belief that the two teams that make it thru..just have the less injury worries on the day...
I think the danger teams are Collingwood..the Doggies and even one person said to me today the Lions (he had been drinking water all morning perhaps thats where that comment came from) ....the Cats will be there because they are hungry again but again depends on injuries...
And injuries my friends at this time of year is what its all about....which team can produce a reasonably fit team......if they arent descimated in the prelims...
Meanwhile over in Tankland.....West Coast and Dockers are thrashing it out...who will be the bottom team ???? Oh the thrill of it all.
And shame on WA media...listening to the Geelong/Hawthorn game on the local station in the car..two minutes out from the 3/4 quarter time and with no warning whatsoever, the station swapped over to the Derby...nice.. guys...dont worry about the GF replay..lets focus on the botton two losing sides....and same for the TV coverage...all showing the Derby including Foxtel...SHAME .....HELLO no one gives a toss !!!...this is why Victoria laughs at you !!!!
