| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 8/21/2009 4:48:32 PM | Woof, Woof. Go the doggies. What a last quarter. Yes, as I said before R.I.P. Geelong, they won't make the grand final. Poor Geelong they just don't have the depth. Every year, every team suffers injuries so I reckon it's a bit lame when you start using it as an excuse. Geelong, just not good enough, you had you day in the sun, move over here come the mighty Saints.
Ball and Hudghton out & Jones and McQualter in. This is now the Saints best team. Hudghton's had his day, no use holding on to has-beens. Many years ago I saw Max Hudghton thump the ground in tears after a close match that the Saints should have won. I loved the passion I saw in him so he has been won of my fav's for many years. But he gives away too many free kicks & he's lucky not to give away more. Too risky at fullback.

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 8/23/2009 12:33:23 AM | | right pooks!! leave the funny stuff to me love!! lol, struth, the boys are a bit off song at the moment but how many times do u see a team with a new coach get up that next week!! no cause for panic but we certainly need to lift the intensity bout 10000% to hit the finals in top form, i would be more worried bout the pussies lack of fight at the moment!! | |

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 8/23/2009 1:04:21 AM | No lack of fight when your down 30 at half time and was leading in the final 10 minutes..thats fight for you, a comeback....however the Doggies were the better team on the nite, it was just that simple and a deserved win....sorry to use this excuse..cause apparently you cant..but we are carrying a lot of injuries..to be expected..as its nearly end of season and most teams are..and losing Chapman did hurt us.......Us out of fight ???..I think not..!!! I'll put it to you this way...bet you don't want to play us in the Finals.....Geelong always has been and always will be the danger team...............................still a rest next week against the Shockers !!! Roll on Finals !!! | |

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 8/23/2009 10:24:15 PM | The Saints are falling away at the worst time of the year. They need to get that confidence back before the finals or they will struggle to even make the prelim. Only team that has been consistent over the last month has been Collingwood, and the Bulldogs seem to have kicked into gear after getting taken down by the mighty eagles! | |

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 8/28/2009 8:15:56 PM | The battle for eight place is on today - who will win? or maybe who will chuck in the towel?
Does Essendon really deserve to be there? They have lost to Fremantle, West Coast and Richmond and drew with North in the last 5-6 weeks.
How the hell did they beat the Saints?
And the big battle tomorrow - if the Bulldigs win, they are nicely placed as they will play Geelong again next week.

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 8/28/2009 11:03:29 PM | Loving that winning feeling again.....nice to see us cruise this week..................and notice how well Ablett played today ?

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 8/30/2009 11:50:32 PM | | Adelaide is looking dangerous, the thrashing they gave Carlton over the weekend was very impressive. Have a feeling that Geelong and St Kilda will lose the first round of Finals because both performances were a bit mediocre considering the teams they played against are 2 of the weakest in the AFL this season. Enjoyed watching my team crush the tigers, ending the season on a positive note! | |

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 8/31/2009 6:19:38 AM | Now we are at the fun stage and quite interesting fun as well. There isn't a lot really to seperate the top 4 teams at the moment.
The Bulldogs will feel confident knocking off Geelong after doing the deed two weeks ago.
And will the Saints awake from their slumber now that September is here.
I am in Bangalore this week and have checked the Australian Network TV progrem and woo hoo they are showing the Saints Pies game at ten sunday morning. I will ahve to get some Kingfishers to watch the game. Beer at 10.00am on a Sunday?

| Footy - Who will win the premiership (Go the Saints) Posted: 9/3/2009 3:25:27 PM | Being a Dockers fan(I have no choice..., I was born there)..., I will go for whomever I believe to be the underdogs on the day...., and I believe it would be fair for the Saints to have the Flag for a year......, plus 'Cats' can't really be thought of as (under)dogs in any way so it's......, "GO THE SAINTS" | |
