im terrified of flying..so i wouldnt mind standing next to the emergency exit with a parachute on ready to do a jump if it starting going down..still..its a bit of a crazy idea though..the things these people do to save money..
That will be next ... just an aircraft full of people wearing parachutes, no need to land and pay all that duty, just chuck the passengers out over the destination and go back for the next herd of sheep ... sorry .. lot of passengers

If that idea ever gets off the ground the next thing you know is they will be turning the bar stools upside down to accommodate four people instead of one. Ouch! That's a painful thought. No thanks.

Though with Ryanair it must be getting similar and to the point people must worry that if they go with Raynair they won't have a seat and wont be allowed to be fat and just bring a change of clothes as luggage is a no no and hope not to use the toilet on the flight or their dirt cheap flight would cost more than an MP can claim on expenses!

Standing up on a plane all squashed together? Could be fun in Turbulence
Yeah like when you are on a packed tube train at rush hour and you have some guy gyrating his bits and bobs into the back of you and the motion of the train and being packed in like sardines prevents you from moving, or from seeing what cretin is actually doing it to you.
No thanks, I'll take my extra leg room and over night pamper pack any day of the week.
Some turbulence I've experienced has been quite severe and I wouldn't have liked to have been standing up for it.

I think they should just go the whole hog and use cattle pens.

Coin slot operated oxygen masks life vests that self deflate after 30 minutes unless you have bought some extra "ryanair time" getting the passengers to be weighed with their baggage?
I noticed the last time I flew with them the seat backs did not have a pocket or Sick bag available?- it really is cut to the bone already- then again £40 return from liverpool to IBiza I'm not complaining- I don't think I would travel with them for more than 2.5 hours though. it does make me wonder though- if they are so aggressive at cutting costs are there any shortcuts taken with maintenance/servicing?
