| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 7/11/2005 4:17:09 PM | "Some people are above it"? Why? I don't see how "above" or "below" have anything to do with having sex.....unless you're talking about positions, of course.
I also realise that this is the point you were making (I think), it's just the wording lends credibility to those who deem themselves to be morally superior

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 7/11/2005 4:59:50 PM | I think a lot of people think of having one night stands to get the whole sexual energy issue out of the way so they can move on to something more substantial like a relationship. Isn't it amazing how free you can be with the person when your having a sexual relationship tho?
You talk about any and everything and shag like rabbits in between lol

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 7/11/2005 6:16:18 PM | I would much prefer a friendship/romance which leads to great sex. But under the right circumstances with the right person I am not opposed to a one night stand; as long as it is mutually understood and acceptable. But I would still rather have a relationship.
that's my 3 cents | |

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 7/12/2005 1:19:52 PM | | It all makes sense and depends on your preference. I would even think about one hour or less stand now but normaly I wouldn't be looking for casual sex. How about this, having sex with someone with out being introduced or talking and I mean consenual sex. Remember the beginning of "Last Tango in Paris" with Brando? It was kind of animalistic but it worked. | |

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 7/13/2005 2:06:09 AM | So, would you prefer a one night stand of great sex or would you prefer a relationship that ends up having great sex? 1-Nighters top out in 1st. gear only ... | |

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 7/13/2005 3:13:26 AM | | Prefer a relationship any day... tried the one night stand thing, there's no satisfaction to be gained from it whatsoever... why even bother having sex with someone if there's no meaning behind it? | |

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 7/13/2005 7:18:30 AM | Having a ONE night only type of fling is out for me. If its an ongoing relationship thats very sexual is very fulfilling on many levels. You feel so free to just be yourself. Having a relationship that doesnt include sex until very late may lead to lots of disappointment as well if the person your with (or even you!) aren't that sexually compatible.
I would love to have some scientist find out how primative men and women used to mate and see if we have evolved any since then lol

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 8/19/2006 4:52:50 AM | | In the seemingly elusive chase for the one perfect relationship, I have engaged in a few one-nite stands, but only with the attempt at "trying out the goods" that would lead to a relationship with some deeper feelings..thanks, T,D,&H...great sex now and greater sex down the road...with the same person, ahhh, wouldn't that be a dream come true? I have kissed enough toads looking for my prince, but in the meantime I will keep kissing those toads. Who knows what my fairy godmother has planned for me? That toad could be my prince! Or he could hop away into oblivion and never be heard from again ...I am willing to take that chance.: heartyou: | |

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 8/19/2006 6:42:14 AM | | I for one could not do the one night stand thing. I seek new friendships that may evolve into something more. Then sex may be involved. I just can't sleep with someone I don't know or have some kind of bond with. | |

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 9/4/2006 11:37:07 AM | AMEN!!!
I have cut out a newspaper clipping I found in a Dear Abby column when I was 15 years old. Lost the clipping...remember the poem by heart. Am using it for dating advice for my daughter: "When I met him I liked him When I liked him I loved him When I loved him I let him When I let him I lost him!"
Men need to have control. Women need to be in "control" and not let the man "take control". If you never see him again he wasn't worth it because he was only looking for one thing anyway: A One Night Stand. If you're lucky enough and he has interest...He'll call back and come back for more cuz he wants what you want: A Relationship.

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 9/4/2006 12:15:48 PM | great relationship that ends up with great sex... DUH... I mean that's everything a guy could want, satisfied sexually and being loved... actually I take that back... that's everything ANYONE could want regardless of gender...
unless you're a greedy prick/****/player/slut, in which case I hope you all die of some horrible VD.

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 9/4/2006 12:17:08 PM | I would rather have a relationship than a one night stand. I tend to go more towards romance and love making and all. It just simply doesn't work with someone that I haven't gotten to know. I am not a bang bang bang type of guy. There needs to be LOTS of LOVE MAKING. | |

| One Night stands or a relationship? Posted: 9/4/2006 1:22:56 PM | well, good question.
i never liked one night stands anyway. ive had them and it was no more satisfying that my right hand. lol
i personally love to curl up with someone i care about to a great movie. all the while, touching, carressing and loving each others touch. if it leads to great love making then hey!
i prefer the relationship over the sex any day. its more satisfying to me.
